Without reading all 303 pages...... What's the likelyhood of just coming in now and being able to acquire one of these beauties?
At this point if you want one you will need to find somebody who is willing to part with theirs and negotiate a deal. They're not being made.
Almost more than a fantastic PV, it embodies 303 pages of people's lives and its history stretches back much further than that. No doubt a few who purchased it view it as an object, I think more of us view it as a link to each other.

I might have a couple left over when the dust settles, but before i get flooded with emails, they'll just be put up for sale on a first come, first serve basis to make it fair to all. I'll announce ahead of time if i do have some left and when they would go up for sale.

Shockwave tip: The button on the Shockwave is essentially a hybrid, incorporating a mechanical actuator (which is the button you see sticking up through and depress) which depresses a more conventional style switch located inside the top cap. The hole the button protrudes up through has a very tight tolerance with the switch (.0005 of an inch). About a half drop of oil applied to the switch sticking out will give you the smoothest feeling button you have ever encountered in your life. Just apply about a half drop to the side of it and you'll see it circle around the sides of the button and seep in, wipe away any excess.

Any specific kind of oil? I have some all in one oil I use for my old oscillating fans, would that be sufficient?

I think the heat treated Velocity DT deserves a clearer picture so future SW owners know what to expect :

First impressions using the ShockWave : button is fantastic, allready getting used to the extra weight, loving the on/off switch, unit is very planted if you're the kinda vaper that keeps his mod upright on the desk ( i keep most of mine on the side, on a microfibrer towel ), the kick sleeve is easy to use, there's no battery rattle , and a fantastic feature for me , the height of the connector gives a very nice airflow to atties wich lately i was using on other mods with 510-510 unsealed adapter, even that io6 wich has the side-holes placement horribly flawed.

I expected a great quality product, but my expectations have been exceeded.

Not very impressed with the blue battery .. was getting 3.96 underload with 1.4-1.5 ohm HH357 when battery was at 4.20 , and now at 4.12 i am getting 3.84v underload. My last hope lies with the canadian Molicel 26700 40A li-mn high drain ( about 2850mAh capacity), and if that one fails too, i'll just use it with the kick. I'm a 10-11W kinda vaper, and start to moan & complain at around 9W.

Are there any review videos yet?

Ya know, like breakdown and assembly. (with and without Kick etc.)

It's gonna be a while before i get mine made and shipped and was hoping to get a bit more eye candy to help ease the pain of the wait.

Great pics, congrats!

I just needed to comment on the tight fit of your kick plus 26500 combo. I don't think it should be any different than with a 650 battery? What with the plunger in the top cap. Do you have the bottom switch screwed too far clockwise maybe? I dunno, mine screws on same with whatever combo. I was just curious.

no the top screws in just fine with the trustfire 26650 battery but it is very, very hard to screw in with the kick and the trustfire 26500 battery

Is that the blue IMR 26500 we sell or is there another brand out there?
