I have found a manufacturer for IMR 26500 batteries. The sleeve is smooth and inserts and removes relatively easily and the kick stays in the sleeve when you remove the sleeve

Real close to Place order... David your opinion...To Slot or not to Slot?
The Shockwave on your website, what fiinsh is it pictured in? Polished or Satin?
If I order before 6-8-12 Im assuming I will get a numbered Shockwave?

Great!!!!!!!!Thanks David, that means I will have my non-slotted shiny ShockWave in 2 weeks. Now I just have to do a littlishful thinking and believe that my number won't have a 2 or 7in it. Or isn't higher than 80, I'd love 113 ,69, 29 but 13 would make me keep it even if I had to carry it with me on a trolly I'm born Friday the 13; and mt peresnt anniversary was November 29 (were married for sixty years before my mom died). Sorry that I'm such a pain in the .... with numbers, I base everything around numbers, that's another exciting factor for the SW.

Update: I literally just got off the phone with my machinist and he is working on the Final Prototypes (as mentioned earlier, we made a few changes to the interior as well as the non slotted body version). I am very optimistic i'll have some pics for you later this week of the final version. If all checks out, we'll then run into full production on them! We are close...

Also have in the High Amperage (1.5amp/1500mah) TR005 charger for the big batts (almost three times the charge rate of most chargers i sell).

Morning David, thanks for the PM about the Shockwave... I will place the order today, one last question if your around. I decided to go with no slots... The polished finish is it as Highly Polished as your T-Tips (mirror finish) or is it more of a semi polished look? I have never been one for fingerprints but a Highly polished Shockwave would be hard to pass up.
Im assumimg that the satin finish is like the Precise+ satin?

Yes, satin is the P+ finish. Polished is not full on chrome looking, more like the old Precises when they came polished.

Load testing of the IMR 26500 at 2.5amps revealed 2981mAh. Will recharge and retest to season them for a final number and to double check. I will also retest an AW IMR 26500 to overlay.
