My P18650 with the shiny finish don't show fingerprints, that's why I went with shiny on the shockwave. If you've never held the old finish,it's so smooth ,its slick as clean glass.
Hoping the shockwave matches or is close anyway

You are right - the original shiny finish does not show fingerprints - I love it. I polish the crap out of it to get it even shinier - and still does not show fingerprints. - hence my reluctance to send it back for upgrade - if lost in mail it cannot be replaced as David will not make shiny P18's anymore. I'd go wild if it were lost.

My brand new fancy 'other' VV electronic MOD bit the dust after just 2 days! When the electronic MODs go on the blink - you cant use em. This is why Mech Mod's like Super T are awesome! They will ALWAYS fire and ALWAYS work for the LIFE of the product! I cant wait for my Shockwave!
Me neither! Just think, a 100% reliable 100% no muss no fuss no brainer perfectly machined fantastic looking 26650 days worth of vaping, how can it get any better?
I think of all the complex little doo-dads I've bought, and sure, they're all great for keeping the mind occupied in this eternal quest for the bigger cloud, or the hands occupied like rebuilding an engine just for the hell of it, but this one will be the ultimate "this is it, just vape it baby". Deep down I'm totally a K.I.S.S. man.
This wait is killing me.

Hey snork, it's really too bad you don't own any other SuperT PVs to occupy your time while you are waiting... :)
Yeah, my collection sort of lies in the face of my K.I.S.S proclamation  considering I've lost track now exactly how many I have. I only have two hands, well and only one mouth.

I couldnt agree more, even though I like to play in Provariland.... SuperT is my home base...... 100% mechanical, nothing to go wrong....

She wasn't complaining about the wait, just saying nice things. I like your idea about the wishlist and I would add MNKE 26650s would be good if AW won't cooperate. Also, I wish David would move to another state so I can get my stuff tax free...I'm not holding my breath though....

Hey siouxsie Im actually using a MNKE 26650 right now they are I beleive only rated for 10 amps by themselves in the mod very disappointing. On the other hand using same mod with AW 26500 (different sleeve for smaller battery) far better experience and I believe its rated at about 20 amps maybe 30, it all depends where you are reading the specs. This is one thing I take into consideration when buying my batteries and also the reason I switched all my protected and IMR to AW. Unfortunately since AW stop manufacturing 26mm batteries they are hard to get a hold of at the moment. I am hopeful when the demand goes up for these types they will rethink theyre decision. I get a lot of my battery info from flashlight forums and they too are in demand for these batteries as well, so between those who vape and those who want big honking torches, we may see a rebirth of this size cell.

Unfortunately all this gear is on loan so I will continue to search for these beast!

The IMR MNKE I'm talking about:

Rated Capacity 4000mAh

Maximum Continuous Discharging Current 20 A

Maximum Instantaneous Discharging Current 60 A

Maximum Continuous Charging Current 6.5 A

Maximum Rated Discharging Current 30 A

Nominal Voltage 3.8 V

Maximum Charge Voltage 4.2±0.05 V

Temperature Range/Discharge -20~60 degree

Temperature Range/Charge 0~45 degree

Temperature Range/Storage -20~35 degree

Internal Resistance at Shipping 13±2 mΩ

Matt (mwa) recommended and he knows what he's talking about, at least when i can understand what he's talking about...lol.

Yes, I'd rather have AW, very hard to get now and doesn't sound like they're bringing them back, so if these specs are on, and Matt says they are as good as the AW's, well who to believe.

Well if ya swing on up to Michigan we could always go on a road trip to MN ;)

If you are one of the early pre-orders and changed your order to a non-slotted version,
does your number change?

No it shouldnt.... ??? I already made a change to ny order... Went from polished/no slots, to satin/no slots.

I like the polished, but only if I could pay David to bring it up to a Mirror finish....

I don't see why it should, since he hasn't started production yet.

Once the prototype pics are posted, I'm sure there will be a little bit of people switching types back and forth from each.
