I had both versions satin and polished, but I really like the old SW prototype finish, whatever that may be called.

O dear , i am now waiting eagerly for Mr David to add India to the shipping list so i can get one for me .

The first prototype shockwave pictures are of the polished finish and was prepared to the same finish as the old Precises were. Not full on mirror finish, but not brushed finish either, somewhere in between best describes it...

If I could of talked you into Polishing it to a mirror finsh I would of kept it polished, extra $$ of course... But then if everyone did that we would back orders up till October......... Right now I thinking it will ship right before Labor day....No pressure at all that way.......

Now I am lost again. I thought. That's exactly how the polished versions are going to be like? I better check the thread again to see if I missed something (don't have my laptop and its a PINTB to check on here).

labor day, are you kidding me?
2 choices, polished finished like in the slotted prototype picture and Super T's avatar, or satin like the P+. What else is confusing you?

There are only two finishes available, polished, which is what the pictures at the very beginning of the thread are of and Satin, which is the same as the PrecisePlus finish. Hope that helps
I am definitely eagerly awaiting for more juicy pictures to drool over while I wait for the Shockwave, which will be my first Super T mod, but from the looks of it probably won't be my last

Riverboats comment just threw me off, did't get the irony. I am aware that there are two finishes, shiny or satin ( I had both finishes and liked the shiny or polished as you call it best. However, I also love the look of the "raw" or medium finish and was wondering if that would look like this before they get polished (like the member who ordered a raw pplus). If I had known you'd sell them without the +finish, I would have ordered a 18650plus in "raw" a long time ago. I know it is very superfical but the main reason I sold my P+ was the look and feel of the finish. Thanks for clearing this up

Your ok Silverrocks, I changed to Satin but still wonder if I made the right finish choice..... I really love a polished look but the satin does hide belmishes and small scratches better...
