The Shockwave resurrected. I've had to replace the switch after a mishap with a Kayfun (be careful with the "adjustable" center post, it's directly connected to the posts, and if you tighten it the wrong way, the posts may/will touch and short circuit)

I used a screw to pull out the delrin (just like in snork's video), 1/16 hex key, and a wire stripper/cutter. While replacing the switch was easy enough, putting them back together with the firing button in place was really troublesome for me. I can't imagine how David did it 120 times over (or however many shockwaves were made). Much respect!

I got lucky a little while back and managed to get some AW IMR 26500s... but was never quite happy with the 10w limit of the original Kick module, as I tend to favour rebuildable atomisers, both drippers and Genesis style - consequently am more drawn to low resistance builds, for which 10 watts is often too restricting... But the new 15 watt limit of the Kick II enables much greater flexibility now... :)

I too had purchased some AW IMR 26500's in anticipation of receiving my Shockwave. However I had sold all my kicks before the SW ever arrived, so I sold the batteries too. I have been using the kick 2 in an 18500 paps for the last few days, and it has lived up to my expectations thus far.
