Just an update. I spoke with my machinist yesterday and he is going to start the refined prototypes on Friday and hopes to have them done this coming week, if all checks out, we'll roll into full production which will take about a week once they start cranking them out. We are getting very close now. I'll post up some more pics of the prototypes when we get them in.

Did I miss a picture of the unslotted prototype somehow? And how many numbered ones will you make for your first SchockWave preorder run. I can't wait but assume you are going by placed orders, hence your comment that if we want to pulll the preorder we'd loose our place in line.

I don't think you've missed the un-slotted proto, I think it's still being finalized. And I believe all pre-orders will be numbered, for this first run, in other words. Cheers.

No, you didn't miss it, should be soon I don't have a set number so to speak on the numbering.

I should have a the non slotted prototype pics up by weeks end. Then its into full production the week after next. Sorry for the delays. When you get this mod in your hands, the attention to detail will make it worth the wait. I promise!

Thats what Im wondering since the 26500 batteries are hard to find in a reputable brand?? Who makes them so the Shockwave can be kicked in its present configuration(no extention sleeve)? SuperT doesnt sell the 26500 batteries, makes me wonder how available they are.... Another thing I am wondering is, when inserting a Kick into a Shockwave is it a smooth sleeve(no threads to rub against) so that inserting and removing the Kick is easy? For me its way to tight inserting a Kick into a P+18, and removing it is even worse... Anyone know the answers to my concerns? I would hate to miss out on a great mod..

I have found a manufacturer for IMR 26500 batteries. The sleeve is smooth and inserts and removes relatively easily and the kick stays in the sleeve when you remove the sleeve
