It looks sick, wow!... I hope I dont regret changing to the Satin finish, that polished version looks pretty sweet..
Mabey the "T" will come polished? Like my Satin P+18 with the highly polished lock switch....

Who knows? Now for this Shockwave ordering problem... Since Mr. Snork had to order the same no vertical slots/Satin Shockwave... He is forcing my hand!
Forcedfuel50 how do I go about ordering a Shockwave with vertical slots/polished Shockwave? And if I order one, can I pay you some extra money to Highly Polish it..... Mirror-Mirror on the wall you has the best finish work of them all? David @ SuperT...
I have no doubt/ since this will be the only run of Shockwaves, limited to 400... Signed and numbered... I am ready to do my part in helping to meet the Quota so that production can begin on Shockwave run....
Yes SuperT fans David/AKA Forcedfuel50 will be bringing out the SUPERT when he finishish shiping the last Shockwave order..........

The "T" on the Master On/Off will come in a more brushed finish. The end user can polish it to a mirror if you'd like. The Shockwave incorporates a mixture of materials. In non-stressed areas such as the top button and bottom master on/off switch they are made of Aluminum for maximum weight savings, the switch "pod" is of delrin and the Stressed components (entire body, top cap, body threads and atomizer threads) are all of Stainless steel for the ultimate in durability.

I will not be offering a mirror finish, just Satin like on the PrecisePlus and Polished as pictured. :)

As far as slotted version, they have been pulled from the site for now with the only current option being the non-slotted body due to uncertainty about the numbers of them i will be able to get machined.

I want to see a pic of the Shockwave all together. Are you still planning on doing a video?

I should have some complete pictures soon. On the video, i am waiting on a part for the master/on off that should be in today and if not, tomorrow.

Might I suggest you tweak the text of the ShockWave page at your site as well as the shopping cart? Both are very ambiguous as to what version is available to order.

So for us that were waiting to see the prototype of the nonslotted before deciding whether or no we wanted to change to slotted, is it too late?

Yes, the slotted is not being offered at this time due to uncertainty surrounding its production numbers, only the non-slotted version is for sale at this time.

Top Cap lower end view.

Shows the spring loaded plunger which makes for no exposed springs to lose and exerts constant pressure on the battery for reliable electrical connection. Note, all pieces of the spring loaded plunger will be Rhodium plated in the production version. A total of 5 parts of the Shockwave are Rhodium Plated

Also note the "D" shaped machining (not round) to securely hold and align the switch pod:

Removable Switch Pod. Contains the user replaceable Snap action mechanical switch, a high amperage version (10amp) of the same switch used in many mouses due to their extreme durability and life and also houses the Spring Loaded Plunger:

Does that mean those that ordered slotted need to change?

No, we are in a holding pattern, But for complete transperency, i can tell you that my machine shop can not do them due to flexing issues of machining those big of slots and is sending the prints of the body out to other Minneapolis area machine shops to try to have that part sub-contracted out, we are waiting on replies.

This is my fault and i sincerely apologize for not forseeing the issues as when i prototyped it here, i prototyped of soft aluminum and didn't predict the problems stainless may present.

For now, i can only take orders on the non-slotted version (which most of the orders are leaning towards anyway). It doesn't mean we won't in the future, nor does it mean slotted customers need to switch to non-slotted. We are in a holding pattern until i hear more and will keep you updated.

Please note: if it should so happen that the slotted version can't be produced, customers will have the option of switching to the non-slotted or receiving a full, no questions asked, refund. It's also a good time to reiterate, the wait has been longer then anticipated and no customer who has paid is locked in, you can receive a full refund at any time.
