The ShockWave by Super-T Preorder Thread

Just wanted to say that I took my first 26650 battery off the charger at about 4.17v (the blue 3500 mah IMR that David sells) at 9 PM Eastern last night and have been vaping on the Shockwave exclusively since then. While I'm not a HEAVY vaper (I'd estimate 3-4 ml a day at the most), I just checked the voltage - it's at 4.03v and 3.80 volts under load (1.5 ohm atomizer).

I have experienced very similar numbers. The one thing I noticed right away, and I remember Dave mentioning this months ago, is the voltage under load is quite high and holds for a long time. I have had to increase the resistance of my coils from ~1ohm to 1.5ish. I am very impressed with the performance, but I expected that from a Super T mod.

Your unit shipped out too. A couple of customers though have found out that the tracking isn't being updated until its physically delivered.

I'm getting a little better at assembling them, but they are still very meticulous to assemble. (blame the designer on that one). It's slow going, but i think it will speed up a bit here now.

Since then I've totally fallen out of love with the 357 and the short stint on the SW reminded me why. So shortly after that trial run I put the blue 26650 in with a couple different drip rebuildables.
Man this thing hits. Two full days and honestly it seems like nothing has dropped off. I should check but why bother?

Snork Im using a 901 right now, and as you know its barrel is longer than the 510. I do prefer the longer barrel now that Ive tried one... I have 6 510 357's that I know will look to short on the Shockwave, saving them for the ELA... If you order a Custom 357 510 you can choose the option of a long barrel 510.. I just sent an email to find out the length of both long barreled versions-510/901--357's

You don't need to order custom, they sell all 4 versions short/long 501/901. I like to use Tanburs with the 357s.

I do not get 2 days out of it but if someone is going to wear the button out that will be me
I am an absolute chain vaper! so getting one day from this bad boy is heaven for me.
Could not try the kick yet. Have not gotten the 26500 yet and am waiting for them to be in stock.

Thanks for the lengths Siouxe.... I order the custom ones because I use 100%VG and they can be set-up for that kind of juice...Im not sure if there is any differance though?

Its to do with the amount of steel mesh(? not sure if that's what its called?) that is put in there, less for VG, normal for 50/50 and more for PG.

OK, sorry for my rant but I just don't understand some peoples action. As some of you may kbow I have been obsessing about# 13 for quite a while. After I found out that the owner wanted to trade/sell it I offered to trade him my Shockwave (which I didn't get yet) plus some cash for his favour. He replird "I don't know what I'm going yet plus his number is low" (it doesn't matter with 119 made IMO). Now it's for sale on Mod Trader. He can obviously do what he wants with HIS Shockwave, however, would it have been such a hassle to trade with me and make a hundred bucks on top? Whatever, I'm over It (kind of,posted inmod trader that the new owner plz contact me and maybe switch). I put way too much time into trying to get 13. Just wished it would have went to somebody appreciating it. Thanks rant over. Now I'm looking forward to MY 46.

Wow silver that's a total bummer. Can't believe they wouldn't just swap with you. I'm sure they have their reason, but it's still a bummer.
