I guess the extra 50mm in the 26700s makes a little difference.

Ummmm, I don't know how well acquainted with the metric system y'all are, but 50mm would make A HELL OF A DIFFERENCE. For every battery, the first two digits designate the diameter of the battery in millimeters (e.g. 18 in 18650, etc.), the second two the length of the battery in millimeters (e.g. 65 in 26650, etc.) and the last digit is not actually a digit but a symbol for the shape of the battery (0 meaning the battery is round).

So a 350 battery is not 350 mm long, but 35 mm long and of round shape. The same goes for the 500s and 650s.

Well said, and also it bears repeating David's instruction that the bottom switch being adjusted does not compensate for battery size, but the plunger in the top cap does that. It's not going to compensate for 5MM though. The battery sits on an o ring on the bottom of the tube, so it could be 10 feet long and still would not sit lower in the tube than a 26650 so there is no use in turning the switch to "compensate for larger batteries." Rock on new SW recipients!

Actually my bad yes 5mm and I am quite familiar with the metric system since I grew up with it, but thanks for pointing out my boo boo!! I would hate to think that people would think the damn battery is almost 2" longer. Actually measured the different 26650s I have and the actual difference on average being 2mm from the 26650s and 26700s. The Palights and Trustfires being almost the same length as the 26700s! Again my apologies for the error but was sooo frustrated trying to get a pic posted I couldn't be bother reading it over after 10 different attempts at the post.

Been running a Kick with my Shockwave today......Damm thing sucks.... Works-doesnt work-works-doesnt work...
I have to keep unscrewing the top cap to readjust it.... I hate the Kick...
The Shockwave will remain forever a 3.7 volt LR vape.......

EDIT: Howerver I put it in last night the Kick has working for hours without one missfire....

Grrrrrrrrrrrr plus the Kick seems to suck the life out of a battery.....vs a Provari....

Hmmm......I have been using a kick exclusively since I only have the 26500 battery. I did notice that the kick did not seat it'self properly in the kick ring and needed to be aligned properly before dropping it into the tube. All kicks are not created equally so you will find slight variations to their height and circumference.......it's just a kick thing.....they need a bit of fiddling to fit correctly. Once the alignment is correct and the battery is racheted into place......I have experienced no issues using the kick. My battery has lasted me two days, on a 357 2.0 ohm atty and a 2.2 ohm ZAU. I have not been using the Shockwave exclusively however ...... still coming to terms with it's circumference and weight

But it's all good....I find I like the clicky click button, and the finish is wonderful........ Having no need to adjust a top cap pin is also a bonus.......the clever ratchet system is really good :toast:
