Running the kayfun bell nano tank on mine with ni200 build dual coil 14 wrapped around 2.5mm

It's everything I've wanted out of my orchids and more! Best part is I had all these parts in my kayfun drawer already

Stealthy!! Yeah, I love the parts compatibility of Silverplay. I had been an avid Kayfun/Russian collector, and I have tons of accessories and spare parts laying around which I was starting to trade/give away, but since I got SIlverplay, I've been making good use out of Kayfun parts that otherwise would've never been used again. I feel like a kid playing with Legos again.

Here is the latest setup I've been using. It retains the air flow of Silverplay and increases the juice capacity to 7 ml while keeping the overall height the same. I used some Big Fogger parts laying around. It's constructed out of SIlverplay deck, SIlverplay chimeny & stack, SIlverplay topcap, Kayfun metal tank section, Big Fogger glass tank, and bunch of O-rings. I basically removed the Silverplay tank and glass section, and thew on the Big Fogger glass tank using big O-rings to create the seal. It's not the prettiest thing, but it sure is functional.

That looks good. Parts description and where to get?

Thanks! It consists of below parts.

- Silverplay Deck
- SP Chimney & SP upper chimney stack
- Rusian 91 top cap (I placed a 510 drip tip o-ring at the end of SP upper chimney stack to create the seal)
- Full size M tank, black
- Wide bore drip tip, custom made with Kayfun chimney, Kayfun top cap 510 drip tip adaptor, SP glass section, various o-rings to secure them all together

All parts came from Fasttech except for the Silverplay parts of course. I made the drip tip, because all the drip tips I own have smaller bore size than SP chimney stack bore size, and the air flow was bottlenecked at the drip tip. I placed the Silverplay glass section around the tip of the top cap and stuffed 4 o-rings between them. Then I placed Kayfun chimney on top of the top cap tip, they happen to be the same diameter, and stuffed more orings between the chimey and the glass section. Finally, I put an o-ring on kayfun 510 drip tip adaptor threads( remember these adaptors? That's when Kayfuns had proprietary non-510 drip tips) to secure it into Kayfun chimney. With the right size o-rings, they are very tightly fit together and they aren't going anywhere. I used some red orings for accents. As you can see here, it's ultra wide bore.

It is super-fun playing around with Silverplay and compatible parts! Enjoy.

Sweet. Thanks for the detailed response. S'pose I better start placing an order. Haha

Got the SP today. It was generally clean, but has a lot of sharp edges. Built it with dual 26g 10wraps each on 2.4mm screwdriver, came up to 0.6ohms, wicked with rayon. The post holes are a bit big IMO. The glass section wasn't cut precisely so the top cap is a bit uneven, no biggie. I'm loving the airflow! Nice clouds and decent flavor! I notice that the airflow control ring can be easily turned, wondering if this is normal. Overall, for the value, I am quite satisfied.

Nice! I hope you are aware that you can use the full M tank with Silverplay chimney and Kayfun topcap. All I had to do was take the o-ring out of the Kayfun top cap drip tip hole, and place it around the top of the Silverplay chimney. That's how I have it set up currently, except I have an aftermarket Kayfun top cap that has larger diameter hole that closely matches the stack diameter of Silverplay chimney. Massive air flow for RTA I tell ya!

All the nit-picking aside, my biggest gripe with the Silverplay so far is the small deck and how it limits my coil building options. I've become so used to macro coil builds on Big Buddha deck that I guess I need some re-adjustment period to get used working on smaller, or regular decks.

Man that Big Buddha deck is a thing of beauty. Because of its deck design, huge flat quad post, your build options are limited only by your imagination. Here is one build, 20g G-plat on 1/8th drill bit.

How would you compare the silverplay and Big Buddha? Setting aside what you already said and the obvious capacity difference.

You can tighten the bottom ring with Silverplay logo to tighten the the AFC ring play.

Uneven glass section is a known design goof. Thank goodness for parts compatibility.

For someone who has been looking for RDA-like experiance from RTAs, I say stock Silverplay edges out my modified Big Buddha on flavor and vapor. Actually, other than what I already mentioned in the previous post, Silverplay is a clear winner in all aspects. The juice capacity for Silverplay is no longer an issue for me since I can put bigger tanks on it, and build freedom doesnt matter any more because I already get a superb flavor on Silverplay with simple micro coil builds. So Silverplay all the way. Only time I mess around with Big Buddha now is when I want to try out new/crazy coil builds.

So I feel like a noob for asking this but whatever. For those of you running 0.7+ ohm builds what gauge of kanthal and diameter of screw driver are you using? I have some 26 gauge nichrome and 28 gauge kanthal. I'm aware I can get around 0.7 ohms in a dual coil with 28 gauge it's just that I don't like the performance. 10 wraps of nichrome on DNA30 device coming at 0.5 ohms takes to long to heat up. I'm getting similar performance out of my kayfun. I realize 26 gauge kanthal has more resistance, but it still seems like a lot of wraps for 30 watts according to steam engine.

I usually don't build outside of single coils and have been happy with performance. Should I go pick up some 26 gauge kanthal? Stick with 28 since that's what I'm limited too? I'm trying to avoid buying another device though I'm aware more power would solve my issue.

Cool! How do you like Lemo compared to Silverplay? I am especially interested in the flavor and air flow at higher wattages.
Still love my lemo but the wicking, flavor and airflow of the SP make it a triple threat. Not to mention the options for tank set ups. This atty can have many faces (-;. I have gone up to 45 watts on the SP with no wicking issues. I can't do that on the lemo without burning juice.

Bottom ring fully tightened but the afc ring still moves easily.

I had a 3mm 28g 9/10 wrap coil working in my SilverPlay initially. It was working well, but I was getting burnt hits rather regularly and wicking was a pita due to deck and chimney space issues. Switched to a 2/2.5mm coil same gauge and wrap count and things are much better. Not sure how I feel about vaping at .66ohms. I usually refrain from going lower than .8/.9, but at .66 the SilverPlay just keeps getting better. Can't wait to slap a Nano kit on this thing if for no other reason than I can see when I need to refill without turning it upside down. The glass bits on this really weren't a well thought out design choice, but it is a fantastic atty!

I have a few qualms with this tank.
Mainly the tank section, they could have easily gave the tank more capacity like fogger v4 did. Instead they chose to raise the glass connector giving minimal capacity and choking off the wicking.
Raising the connector as they did creates a bottle neck the juice must flow through to feed wick and to fill.
this creates a certain air pressure that makes it a pain to fill, I imagine that certain air pressure is present while the tank is assembled and one is vaping from it.
Making it compatible with kayfun threading is awesome however while using it in kayfun mode I lose they key (to me) selling feature, the 6mm diameter chimney shaft.
I have only had it a few days and have had work so I haven't had the time to experiment with it and find the sweet spot. So far flavor is trash, could be my build.
