I have a few qualms with this tank.
Mainly the tank section, they could have easily gave the tank more capacity like fogger v4 did. Instead they chose to raise the glass connector giving minimal capacity and choking off the wicking.
Raising the connector as they did creates a bottle neck the juice must flow through to feed wick and to fill.
this creates a certain air pressure that makes it a pain to fill, I imagine that certain air pressure is present while the tank is assembled and one is vaping from it.
Making it compatible with kayfun threading is awesome however while using it in kayfun mode I lose they key (to me) selling feature, the 6mm diameter chimney shaft.
I have only had it a few days and have had work so I haven't had the time to experiment with it and find the sweet spot. So far flavor is trash, could be my build.

Yeah I'm getting good flavor not the best but definitely solid.. But I have to close off the air or increase my wattage to get the flavor... Pretty good for a cloud chasing tank

Makes no difference whatsoever in air flow. I've ran maybe 20 different setups in mine so far with 6 different Kayfun sized chimneys... stocks... nanos... micros... etc. as well as the original SP chimney. All the same. The real airflow restriction is the inlets. Mess around with a few more builds... get your wicking perfected and you'll come around.

Until recently I used 26g Kanthal almost exclusively for single-coils in the .6-.8 ohm range. Heats up fast, fewer wraps (it's got lower resistance than 28g Kanthal), simple and even enjoyable to wrap, and unlike 24g, which I also like to workwith, you can still wrap a coil that gives you decent surface area to wick ratio. eg. 5/6 wraps on a 3/32 drill bit (2.4 m) or a 2.5 mm rod.

Unless I'm wrapping an Estia, Kayfun or other device that requires smaller coils or higher resistance, or unless I'm wrapping something something very specific for a special atty, I usually pick up the 26g Kanthal. I'd definitely recommend you add it to your stock.

I agree with you. The tank design on Silverplay is quite flawed/ill-executed. But the deck and the chimney more than makes up for it considering its parts compatibility.

If I haven't made this clear enough before, I must note here that you can use 6mm SP chimney with Kayfun top cap & tank combo. You just have to place a 510 drip tip o-ring at the end of the chimney in order to create the seal. See below. You can see how the o-ring would seal against the Kayfun top cap.

Here is my Silverplay setup of the day.

- Silverplay deck
- Orchid V6 chimney (This is the version where the chimney threads into top cap.)
- Kayfun nano kit metal tank section
- Kayfun clear mid section
- Kayfun 30mm expansion deck
- Kayfun 30mm expansion tank
- Kanger Aerotank Giant top cap (By pure coincidence, the Orchid chimney threads perfectly into this top cap)

I disagree. From many different setups I've experimented with, I've noticed that there is a significant air flow restriction when using Kayfun/Orchid chimney top stack compared to SP 6mm stack. Initially, I didn't notice much difference, because I was using a drip tip with 4mm bore, and the air flow was being bottlenecked at the drip tip. But once I put on a wide bore 8mm drip tip, I was easily able to notice the the air flow difference. I may have been able to notice the difference more distinctly since I have a deep lung-hit vape style too.

Here is a creation inspired by Mod Factory's K-Pico. I was putting a build on my Marquis clone, and as I was staring at its 510 drip-tip adapter, I couldn't help but wonder, "Could it possibly fit on SIlverplay chimney?"

Well, it didn't fit on Silverplay chimney. However, it fit snugly on Orchid 2-part chimney with the help of an o-ring.

I proceeded to drill out a Kayfun PMMA top cap in order to fit it through K-Pico style. I am rather pleased with this build. It CHUGS cloud. The flavor suffered just a bit, but it no longer mattered as I bumped the wattage upto 70. This is the closest I've gotten to an RDA-like experience with an RTA.

I posted the Kayfun bell cap which is a nano kit.... Just screw on a Kayfun nano chimney and then screw on the bell cap

I can concur. The 1Q bell cap fits perfect... the quartz nano kits fit perfectly (from FT)... (3) different stainless/acrylic nano kits work (dont know manufacturer) nicely... every cap i've put on fits... you can use different combinations of chimneys, caps and barrel/outer rings... everythings seeps to fit...

ONLY fitment problem i'm running into is my micro top cap will not fit on the SP with the quarts nano kits or the smaller micro steel kits... only the standard nano kits or full sized kayfun tank parts. This is the cap i'm talking about (not my pic though)

If that's the SOV micro, I thin VaporDNA says that one won't fit on the product page.

I'll probably go that route, I was just hoping to find one that the chimney threads into.
Yeah, i hope to see some hop up parts for Silverplay in the future, considering the chimney-top cap threading is not currently compatible with other kayfun/orchid parts. It's a shame because 6mm chimney is the highlight feature of this RTA.

Luckly, this refillable top cap has wider opening than any kayfun/orchid top cap I've seen, and it closely matches chimney stack diameter.

I'm reserving my judgment on the silverplay until I get a few builds on it, with a few different flavors. But so far, AMAZING AIR FLOW!!! but terrible tank design, muted flavor, tiny build deck & shoddy machine work have me a little disappointed. Although I'll give them the build deck, since I'm used to working with rdas and my BB
