Ah pipeous, just to have you know. that the anti facebookers from ecf that have sworn not to join it have indeed joined..under alias names! It's not evil, it is much more private than you think. And you don't need to post your real name, or any photos of any kind. You can also ensure that your profile stays private by clicking the little box that says i want my profile private. You share whatever you want to whoever you want, whenever you want! You control your own destiny! But i can PM you Pipeous if you want.

A supplier in Canada just had his ejuice tested by chemists and will have the results soon. I believe this is setting precidence for what may come of the whole HC crap. This is the first step of many steps to come from this supplier. There also is another supplier that has come forward with some news about court. That's all I can say at this time. I hope this sheds a little light of hope.

The "Canadians Against The Electronic Cigarette Ban" is an "Open" group and is not private. Anyone with an account can read the content. I see no reason why you wouldn't copy the content for those who are interested.

Companies in the US have been testing their liquid for quite some time and has had zero impact on progressing their agenda with the government.

The comment about having testing completed but not wanted to disclose the information until its been published, seemed strangely familiar

I just told you what was going on, but honestly, ECF doesn't want to come clean with anything on here, and is being secretive. So I am not going to continue to talk on here about it when so many folks are humming and hawing and saying they have answers but won't share them. My time will be spent in my group instead. So like I said, join or be a facebook member and you can read it there. I will be here from time to time as well, but I can't participate in conversations when no one wants to come forward. All I can offer is that there are things being put into place that have not been discussed here over the last few months that I am aware of.

Facebook sucks.

"First and foremost, I want to say hi to you guys, and to say that this group is quite awesome. It is very nice to see that people can gather and try to make things better regarding the ecig situation here.

First of all, let me just state that I work as a PR in an e-cig company based in Montréal. That being said, I'm not here to promote our product; don't worry.

Now, last week, we received the results of some lab testing we had done. We did these testing because even though we all pretty much KNOW what is inside e-liquid, we yet, as an industry, had to have legal papers signed by chemists (or professionals) saying "yes, this is it and nothing else".
Well, we just so happen to have these papers now and, by monday, we will have run them by a doctor who is the head cardiologist in an hospital who agreed to put his signature on these papers.
I also have some very, very exciting news regarding further official, scientific publication of our lab results (peer-reviewed), but I do not want to open my mouth too much before everything is signed.

So I just wanted to say that things were moving. Let's keep hope guys; soon, our government will have no choice but to listen to our voice.

Vape on,

Julian."

The secret information is now here for all :) A pile of crap, bunch of piss faces blowing smoke and at that some I recognize from here. Just fear mongering for suppliers to get the 144 losers(1 is me) to load up on their over priced crap for the coming disappearance of e-juice in Canada.

Thanks Julian for coming forward, I am glad you are able to reveal these changes happening against this ban here in Canada. As I said before, I feel lucky I met you, as a passionate vaper that only wants the best for our Canadian friends. I believe what you are doing is going to set the path for the rest to follow. It may just be what is needed to get HC to back off.

But they do have more freedom to buy, sell, and use e-cigs than we do.

They do, it's true. The question I would be asking is, why do they? I think you will find the answers in the Njoy/SE lawsuit. Their freedom did NOT come from forming trade associating or creating regulations or testing liquid or IVAQS etc.

That is awesome Katz! ya if u have a membership to facebook or somehow can piggy back of someone elses profile u can see all!!!! Should I change it to private though? After all what has happened recently with that dude from nicfits?

I thought I read somewhere near the beginning that it was a private group, by invite only....
or maybe in the email I received asking me to join. Not sure though. I am on F/B myself, but only used my son's account to see if I could access the page.

I think maybe it should be a private group, but that is only my opinion. Especially after what happened with that dude!

Damn. I'm truly sorry to hear about this. I had no idea. In many aspects, I figured Canada a little more forward-thinking than the US and was thinking about an eventual migration north.

No idea why they would ban something that promotes, at the very least, better health.

Slam your fists on the table and make your demands - however you can.

Good luck! Don't give up!

A supplier in Canada just had his ejuice tested by chemists and will have the results soon.

The results posted seemed strange. He said they tested liquid from their cartomizers, and they found:
PG - 21.8%
VG - 48.8%
NIC - 0.7%
water - 28.3%

He then said "NO OTHER CHEMICAL COMPOUND WAS DETECTED".

Anyone else curious about what's in the other 0.4% and why non of the flavouring compounds were detected?

He said that he censored the report, so who knows.

I wasn't sure either, but this is what he had to say about what was omitted:
"The names and techniques that were used to do said testing have been censored."

I figured the rest was left in and was accurate.

Anyone with more information want to chime in here?
