+1 on keeping notes. I have a little notebook I keep with my vaping gear that has everything I have ever DIYed in it. I make adjustments to it constantly to try and get things tasting good. I have only been doing diy for a short time, but my friends and I have definitely found it worth the time and effort. As far as a time investment goes, I need something to keep me thinking. I turn recipes over in my head as I am vaping, wondering about how I could make it taste different or better. As far as saving money is concerned, you can save a lot with DIY. I used to vape about 70 bucks worth of juice a month. And that is cheap juice, nothing over 9 bucks a bottle. After a few months, I have already seen a return on my starting investment of around 100 dollars.
