I think I would really like the bloog... if it ever gets here. Ordered two weeks ago and it's STILL not here.

Do they even acknowledge orders? I ordered a set to use for going out and for driving (dripping is a pain when out and about), and never even got an email acknowledgment. Strange for a company with such a "pro" looking website.

I wonder if the items shown in stock are not really "in stock", but maybe pending, soon-to-arrive, etc. Hmm...

EDIT: See post below...

Frick - I wrote a rather 'liberal' e-mail (if you catch my drift) to the folks at Bloog and they wrote back immediately. They were hard pressed to keep up as are most vendors offering latest tech -- The response I recieved from CS is that they will have their customer service issues repaired by the end of this week.

It's like going into the store and buying a nintendo wii around x-mas time. Its nearly impossible to predict demand ... hang in there buddy, all will be well, soon...

Yeah, I understand, and thanks, PB. Most e-commerce websites automatically send out confirmation emails (you get them literally seconds after placing an order, in most cases), so I was curious.

I sent them an email just after posting the above post, and instead of answering me, I got a "your item has shipped" email. Good enough for me! :)

To be fair, I found out that a lot of the wait is fedex. Because of the weather in the east, the package has been delayed a couple of days. Should be here tomorrow.

They sent mine USPS. In fact, I didn't see any fedex options at all when asked what type of shipping I wanted; it just listed USPS Priority Mail or the faster one (Express Mail, I think).

So PapaBloog, since you said in your review that its compatible with V4L, (kinda figured), I'm assuming that you have used their "Vapor King?" The reason I ask, is because V4L got me off analogs. I love them, their stuff and their mass amount of different flavored juices, along with awesome customer service. I absolutely love the KR808D-1 model, so I'm kinda curious on your thoughts comparing V4L's KR808D-1 with Bloog's. Also, how do Bloog's cartoz compare with V4L's Wow cartz. I doubt I'd stop doing business with V4L (they're awesome), but I do like new things :)

I am so completely impressed with the MaxxFusion. I got my Tornado tank just last week and thought I'd died and gone to heaven. After using the MaxxFusion for 3 days, the tank sits in the drawer.

Can't believe the vapor the MF creates... absolutely love it...!!!

Thanks for the heads up Papa...

I would like to see a comparison V4L Premium to the MaxxFusion as well...

I'd love to hear your thoughts as well. I'm in the same boat - PapaBloog's reviews have been so stellar that I really want to try the Bloog, yet I do love my V4L's. :)

the bloog has to diferent sized batts, witch is best, the long one or the short one ?

they both perform the same. the only difference is the mah. the 78mm batt is 320mah. the 65mm batt is 220mah.
mah=milliamps per hour. the longer batt will last longer on a full charge than the shorter batt.

I have a Bloog and it is a really nice auto, however I just received one of the new V4L "Diamond" series autos and I could swear it is a Maxxfusion in V4L clothing!! That said these are identical in the easy draw and the best autos in my opinion. It's really interesting to me that Leaford who created the MaxxFusion USED to work for V4L ! Something's fishy there to me - LOL. Anyway - whatever/whoever created these new autos for V4L - they are both awesome!

Now the MaxxFusion cartos are a whole different ballgame in my opinion and they outshine the V4L cartos hands down - WHEN they work! There have been some inconsistenices with the MF cartos and Leaford is working on improving them. When these babies work like they are supposed to they ROCK! Easy draw, plumes of vapor, great taste. NO comparison with the V4L cartos!

That said - if you are a V4L fan and want a Bloog - just buy the V4L Diamond series batts and you'll have the same thing, however if you want a better carto - use the MF cartos on your V4L batts!

That's my take on these products - hope it helps someone.

You know, of course, these are all chinese products, right? So the question of "who created" this or that is always a bit relative.
I'm sure someone can influence the development of some products, but in the end they are all chinese owned and engineered, and customised for each customer.

Yes I realize that - just saying it is a pretty good coincidence that the technology of Bloog MaxxFusion and the V4L Diamond Series appeared on the market very close together and that Leaford had/has dealings with both companies.

Isn't that about the same time Kanger came out with their new improved KR808. There are a lot more venders than manufacturers.

Hey All - just checking in on the thread. To draw a comparison between Bloog and V4L - IMHO, the Bloog MaxX reigns supreme, hands down. With that said, I used V4L product, and other rebranded KR8 product from a number of other vendors. The KR8 is what got me off the choke sticks, the MaxX sealed the deal.

Bloog is only a distributor - however, Leaford works for Bloog in China, is responsible for product development and has, to my understanding, created a line of product that is PROPRIETARY to Bloog. In other words, what Bloog sells here in the States comes from a single manufacturer (Chinese) and is only distributed by Bloog. The reason why the Bloog is so different than all other KR808D-1 compatible product is that it was redesigned from the ground up based on Leaford's engineering recommendations.

My guess is that V4L, after losing Leaford and watching the unprecedented success of the MaxX line - is trying very hard to catch up to MaxX tech - and I do believe they are playing hard to catch up. I have not tried the diamond line with the "bejeweled" bottoms, but, knowing that it took Leaford at least a year of engineering, development, testing and QA to release the MaxX - I would be hard pressed to think that V4L would have anything even remotely similar to the Bloog only 2 months after the release of MaxX line.

Now, on to cartos - Leaford designed the WOW cartos - and yes, I agree, they were good - but absolutely fall short of the newly redesigned MaxX cartos - I mean, by at least 300% to 400% improvement in quality, reliability, vapor production, taste -the updated Bloog tech is so vastly superior to the V4L stuff - from personal, first hand, side by side experience - that I won't be going back to V4L, at least not in the near future.

One of the other issues I have with BOTH Bloog and with V4L - is that their juice is Dekang - which is good, high quality, pharma-grade product, but, it is Dekang 100% PG - I've grown to love an 80/20 or 70/30 PG/VG mix which is ultimately smoother without losing the TH.

I don't know what else I can do to compare these two products. I am now currently a Bloog user, and will be for a very, very long time. And, with even more advancements I hear are in the works at Bloog - I can say that this product line is only going to get better, and better, and better...

it all sounds great...kinda like when I was told Leaford's 808 stuff was exclusive to V4Life...NOT.

Mabe it is this time...mabe not but I doubt a Chinese manufacturer would only sell product to one small supplier.

Regardless, next time I need some cartos, I'll give them a shot. As far as battery...18650's and Manual so no thanks.
