Okay PapaBloog... you've sucked me into your evil vortex...

I was smoking a pack a day until picking up a 401 about a year and a half ago... then upgraded to a KR808/901atty configuration (saw it recommended here on ECF)... never did like the sloppy tip fit and it didn't last very long at all... The fog production was okay for the first couple of drags then fell off to 401 level until refilling...

Went on a mission last week to improve fog levels and refilling intervals so I purchased (still waiting on delivery) the following from TW:
808/501 atty adaptor to try 501s on our existing KR808 manual and auto batts...
501 attys and carts
Tornado tank setup

Then I find this thread. Now understand, my wife loves an auto battery and we feel as though the industry is bent on abandoning her. It sounds like the MaxxFusion could be her solution.

Just finished ordering two extended and two shorty batts and 20 cartos from Bloog...

Its been an expensive week and I hold you personally responsible...

i already have 808 stuff that i'm pretty content with, is it really THAT much of an improvement that i should upgrade?

The catomizers are great. They are better than other high end cartomizers that I've tried and are definitely worth checking out. Also, if you want an auto bat, the Bloog is the way to go but you should be fine with your existing batteries. Even though the Bloog batteries store a little more power than others, it's hard to tell the difference between it and my other KR8 batteries (I have one manual and one auto from other brands, and one Bloog battery). Fit and finish on the battery is excellent though and the auto switch works extremely well.

I say try the cartomizers and go from there.

got mine last week and i can confirm they are _much_ different than regular KR8s. i'm trying to put together another review to help the confusion. trust me, i was skeptical too and have tons of V4L stuff from when i started... and to be non-noobish, i have two full size tackle boxes full of my PV gear, wetbox, prodigy, provari, ego and riva, just to name a few... most cig style PVs arent worth it once you try mods, but now my daily vapes are the maxx, riva w/2ohm cartos and drip tip, and the provari for trying out new stuff and sitting around the house. frankly, the bloog has been getting the most attention. never been able to take a two second drag on an automatic with no primer puff and some VG juice and blow clouds of vapor :vapor:

So it looks like a V4L 808 carto inside too. whats the difference?

I moved away from 808 cartos and prefer 510lr cartos.

Still sounds like more of Leafords hype...anyone have an explanation WHY these BLOOG cartos are better...don't really care about the auto batts as I like the control you have and the protection of sealed manuals anyway.

im pretty sure that i already explained this.....
the insides of these cartos are NOT the same as V4L 808s or any other 808 for that matter. they have a horizontal atty that is wrapped in an NON-flammable tube. you can put this tube in direct flame and it will NOT burn. so, the cartos are "unburnable".
also, the batts have a different type of switch that incorporates the IC chip. this make the switch activate faster so that NO primer puff is needed.

Mike, as much as I am still a babe in the woods when it comes to vaping, I have, in fact, found my holy grail and it is the bloog. These cartos, combined with the right juice are so consistent, so easy to maintain, and last so long - I don't need to look elsewhere. I've tried the V4L cartos, both Cool and WOW cartos - and I fried most of them by the 4th or 5th refill, whereas, the bloogs - I'm am still using the ORIGINAL cartos I purchased with my first set and they are performing as well as they did when I first got them. I'm literally going on refills in the 40x to 50x area...

BTW, I've heard that the ohms were slightly more variable on the original release - but, this is supposed to have been corrected recently - Leaford says the ohms range will be from 2.4 - 2.6.

ok, if they can't burn, will try them when I run out of 510lr cartos.

What resistance do they run at?

Auto battt...no thanks...I drip too much.

You don't want low resistance with these. They are very efficient and Leaford is actually slightly increasing the resistance to the 2.6 - 2.8 area because lower resistance tends to scorch liquid. Keep in mind the KR8 system is at a slightly higher voltage than the 510 so you'd want to slightly increase resistance anyway.

Silky is the best way to describe the Bloog cartos, both flavor and vapor production.

I like "scorched" liquid...vape at 5v or 6v or lr 3.7 on 18650 batts..not stock 510 junk.....scorched=throat hit.

If it's too smooth...not for me...will give these cartos a try though.

Every carto I have tried and I've tried ALOT, taste like dirty dish rags and don't vape nearly as nice as dripping.

Only use cartos while driving...using a 5v PassThrough.

My wife is still on the hunt for a new go-to flavor (she had liked V4L Wow Cowboy, but the formula has apparently changed), so I ordered some of the Bloog Maxx Fusion Reds cartos. They vape really nice, but the flavor seems more like a 555 than a Marlboro-type - it is a little nutty and sweet. Not bad, but not exactly what we were hoping for.
