I actually really like the look of it, might have to pick one up.
So ive been using my vapemate all weekend and I'm starting to get used to it. The tubing i bought worked perfect and feeds great. Great looking piece, only question i have is... Inside where the bottle screws in.. Is it suppose to be painted 100%? I bought a black vapemate and i looked up in there and it's not painted all the way. Not a big problem for me just curious
They actually are not painted or coated in anyway, anodizing is actually a chemical treatment, where the aluminum is dipped in a electrically charged acid bath for 1-2 hours which changes the chemical composition of the surface layer of the part. The color is achieved by a dye, not unsimilar to food coloring, added after the anodizing that enters the pores of the aluminum. If you see a part uncolored that is usually where the part was hung on the rack (it needs to be hung by electrically conductive aluminum; usually wire is used ) and it is nothing to worry about.
My blue one is painted all the way inside...I'm sure David or someone else will chime in with 'real' info for ya soon. I LOVE mine! What freedom, what taste! Charlie Sheen ain't got nuttin' on David #FTW!
I got it yesterday...it was wandering in the usps system forever!! Funny, just remembered when I looked at this thread again about the cartos, been trying it with attys...well, now I know what ill be doing tonight! Woo-hoo

I've been going back and forth on what I want to try as far as something to use in the car from going all out and getting a GGTS and UFS or getting a MAP tank but I keep coming back to the Vapemate for some reason. I only knew the Super T did the Vapemate, didn't know about the Precise but I freakin want one now. I do have one question though, if I use the Vapemate in my car and take it off and leave it in my console until after work will there be any residual juice in it to leak out.
