So ive been using my vapemate all weekend and I'm starting to get used to it. The tubing i bought worked perfect and feeds great. Great looking piece, only question i have is... Inside where the bottle screws in.. Is it suppose to be painted 100%? I bought a black vapemate and i looked up in there and it's not painted all the way. Not a big problem for me just curious

They actually are not painted or coated in anyway, anodizing is actually a chemical treatment, where the aluminum is dipped in a electrically charged acid bath for 1-2 hours which changes the chemical composition of the surface layer of the part. The color is achieved by a dye, not unsimilar to food coloring, added after the anodizing that enters the pores of the aluminum. If you see a part uncolored that is usually where the part was hung on the rack (it needs to be hung by electrically conductive aluminum; usually wire is used ) and it is nothing to worry about.

My VM should be here soon, but I have one question as I have a long drive that I'm hoping to use it for if it gets here in time. I see people talking about using cartos with it, but if I'm filling a carto normally I occasionally get juice down the center tube that I have to blow out. When using the VM, how does it prevent this from happening?

I'm not exactly sure because I can't see inside when its dripping, but I havn't flooded a carto when using the VM. I suspect that it doesn't hit the carto right in the center. Also it takes quite a bit to flood a carto so if you just use the vapemate every once and a while it seems to keep it topped off perfectly. If your having troubles flooding the center of the carto anyway, I'm sure you could just tilt and fill so that it drips down the side of the carto. Hope that helps

Spek...I gotta tell ya how much you rock, Bud...got my order in the mail today of supplies. Well, I had ordered a new atty...instead I got blank cartomizers! LOL!! Too hilarious. I used your info right away and it does NOT go straight down the hole. I didn't even HAVE to tilt it, but probably will, just in case. Yum yum yum, even with a carto this is tastin' mighty fine, mighty fine indeed! Krisb, you should get it by Weds if you got the notice. Check the status online tonight and see where it is in the system. Once I got the confirmation it had shipped, it was 2 days for me...and I live clear up in WA state. May the vaping Force be with you....

Great that's awesome! I just wanted to make sure so i didn't harm it in anyway.

I've been going back and forth on what I want to try as far as something to use in the car from going all out and getting a GGTS and UFS or getting a MAP tank but I keep coming back to the Vapemate for some reason. I only knew the Super T did the Vapemate, didn't know about the Precise but I freakin want one now. I do have one question though, if I use the Vapemate in my car and take it off and leave it in my console until after work will there be any residual juice in it to leak out.

I've noticed when I take mine off, there is a bit left in the window and where the bottle screws in, so I would keep a paper towel under it. Now, if you keep the bottle screwed in, I would think you should be ok, but can't verify that.

One thing I've been doing, is to keep a bottle filled with plain water, so when I'm putting it down for awhile, ill screw in the water bottle to flush it out, then remove it.

There will be juice left in the VM and you can either cap it or blow it out into a towel. I use a 510 cart top and a 901 cart top to plug mine with when I remove it when out and about. Of course at home-just run water through the VM and it's all good.

Thanks for all the nice comments everyone-I so appreciate them!
