That's about where I'm headed as far as this fiasco goes, dan1boy. I haven't received my order or any communications and am no longer looking forward to getting it either.

I will mark it down as lesson learned, do no further business with them and have made a mental note on Vapor Joe's attitude and beliefs as to the ethical responsibilities of a popular blogger.

I almost immediately got an email saying the status of my order is refund. But still no money back into my PayPal (yet)

Within 5 minutes of filing my dispute with Pay Pal, I got an e-mail from the Vapor Co saying the status changed to refunded. He never refunded anything. He later changed it to shipped and did ship the product. When you file a dispute with Pay Pal, it gives you a date by which the seller must respond to the dispute. Tim Grey didn't respond and Pay Pal refunded it the day after that date.

Ordered on Jan 8. Wasn't in a hurry, so didn't really bother to follow up until Feb 1, when i thought it was getting ridiculous. The dude answering the phone said that my order is actually being prepared to ship right now ( after reading this thread, i now believe he was lying, and that they expedite the orders of the people who call to complain. ). Anyhow order was shipped on the 2nd and received on the 4th, only half the order was missing. I called the company and they said they will send the rest. Neither time that i called were they apologetic or anything, just acted as if business as usual.

Just received the order that was sent out on the 4th and to my surprise they shipped the entire order minus one flavor again, and not just the missing bottles.

Now as far as the juice itself, i haven't tried yet and they are being steeped. I was a little put off by the artificial coloring, but realistically we eat arttificial coloring in our food too. I know this is being vaporized, but before vaping, i don't believe anyone had ingested vaporized propylene glycol and vegetable glycerine either. We are all engaging in somewhat risky behavior and inhaling material that hasn't been scientifically tested for safety and purchasing stuff from a new unregulated industry, where even the most reputed company isn't more than a few years old.

That said, i am still debating whether to test the dark blue and bright red juices. They just look weird. The juices smell pretty god overall i must say. I don't even know what the role of the artificial colors are. Do they have a flavor profile ? Does the vendor think it makes the liquid look cool ? Are they used to achieve consistency in color, because otherwise their juices aren't ? Just don't know.

I don't believe they are scam artists, just over their heads. There seems to be very little quality control and managerial oversight going on. Some of the bottles i received were overflowing with liquid, and some where barely two thirds full. Clearly there was a rush job going on here, and the bottles were being filled by minimum wage hourly workers who don't give a s#*t.

Pretty new to the vapor joe site, but my opinion of him has really plummeted and although i don't know for a fact i wouldn't be surprised if he is making money on this and similar deals, he has been pimping. Nothing else makes sense.

If anyone has an opinion on the safety of inhaling artificial colors and why it would be different from eating or drinking it, please respond to this thread.

So I ended up throwing away all the juice I received. It was awful. Gummy Shark was just sour and thats it. No flavor nothing. Watermelon smelled like watermelons but was flavorless as well. The rest were just as awful. Should also be noted that they produced very little vapor. Which I couldn't understand. I shouldn't have tried them in the first place but I did so against my better judgement.

Is it confirmed that his PayPal account has been frozen? How can we tell this?

I really don't blame VJ for this fiasco. Based on what I've read, some people are getting their orders and are happy with them. Many recommend VJ as a resource and I will continue to. I'll just be a bit more cautious before jumping on the sale.

I was talking about the pitbullvapejuice VJ is pimping now. Its good stuff, Puppy drool is my favorite.

The vapor company I ordered on 1/9 and still says awaiting shipment. Honestly don't care if its the best juice I have ever had, I will not order again.

Tim Grey, the owner stated it in a facebook post. His website also does not allow payment through Pay Pal anymore.

I can not say for sure if there is a risk to inhaling artificial colorings. There are some people though that do have allergies to certain chemicals in some artificial colorings which I see as a potential issue. Personally, I see no need for it. Why add chemicals that don't need to be there nor alter the flavor in any way?

I don't believe they are scamming either. Personally, I don't think Tim Grey knows how to run a business. He certainly doesn't seem to care that people are waiting for products ordered over a month ago. His attitude seems to be that his juice is the best and that is worth the wait. He don't get that people are ...... that they are waiting on orders over a month old, yet he is still pushing a deal that has buried him. He don't seem to get people are ...... because they have been waiting, yet he is telling people on a public forum that if they order now and give him the order number, he will get it out the door the next day.

What really concerns me is that tonight, he stated he has gone through over 60 employees in the last month. How do you have any quality control when every day on average, you have 2 new employees? I'm sorry, but that leads me to believe there are much bigger issues then excessive orders and poor customer service.

Honestly, there are many reputable dealers out there that got their acts together. They many not have $1.99 juice, but at the end of the day, you get what you pay for.

yeah i was talking about pitbull as well. do they use artificial coloring ?

After filing for a refund on PayPal he marked it refunded on the site then a few hours later as shipped. The business practices of the vapor company suck. I'm a manager of a restaurant and if that place was ran like this it wouldn't last a week.

Did the same to me. Leave the Pay Pal dispute open. He won't respond to it and Pay Pal will just refund it if there is any funds left in his account.

I would never order from these people based simply on principle. When I saw the sale it reminded me of a vaping network show I was viewing back on 9-27-13. There weren't very many chatters in the room and one of the sponsors was the maker of Shark Juice (I know these are the same people because the flavors have the exact same names as I looked at back then). Generously, they offered a free 10 ml bottle to everyone in the room. Cool. I, like many others, followed the directions to give our info to the host, and she in turn forwarded the info to the sponsor. This is a common practice on these shows. A month went by and no juice. I sent an email to the host to inquire about the giveaway and she responded that she was waiting for a reply from the sponsor. It never came. She emailed me back that they were now considered a "bad sponsor" and she wouldn't be having them sponsor any future shows. Everyone got stiffed. She apologized, but there wasn't anything she could do. Oh well. Life goes on....it was a giveaway and it cost me nothing. I did though, put them on my "never order from" list, along with a couple other deadbeat sponsors that I've encountered. I just can't bring myself to order from vendors that stiff people on giveaways. I see it as a character issue and bad business. They will never see my hard earned money. I don't care what the price is. That's just me. YMMV...

I've learned my lesson on ANY of these $1.99 "sales". Decide it will take forever - If ever - to receive the product. It may be typical run o' the mill tasting juice good to huff and puff away on and maybe if really fortunate it will be 'a cut above' the rest. There is little doubt old Vapor Joe will 'blast it out' and they will be swamped. The overload will follow and those who order afterwards will have a long long wait.

The vendors should know an avalanche will follow such a promotion - it's happened before; they can't fill 2,000 orders in a day or even a week with only one or two employees. There are 1440 MINUTES in an DAY and IF it only took FIVE MINUTES to fill EVERY ORDER and BOX IT UP the tops is 288 per DAY; and I think it's safe to say each order takes a lot longer than FIVE MINUTES - especially at these prices.

Logistically it is crazy to think of having to fill 20,000 bottles of juice and enter all the data, package it up and so on. I don't think these new folks realize what they are in for; BUT they have the payment and they apologize SO WELL they skate - for a while. Sure - more employees - more orders filled per day - but it's still around the proverbial clock and I doubt that ever happens while maintaining any quality at all.

It's as much MY fault as is it theirs. I got in early on some of these sales - but no more.

Got mine Friday. Order 1553. Even though I have not opened a bottle, there is a strong menthol/sweet odor as soon as I opened the shipping box. Putting them away for a while to see if anyone here finds anything terrible about the artificial colors. May try them later...just not sure.
