"The best customer service is the one where you are so good at servicing your clients that no customer service is necessary."

Jus made it up, that's y u never heard it b4

hmmmm..... Isn't "servicing" your clients considered customer service? LOL

Sorry, I have a BA in English, I couldn't help myself. :p

I'm posting this here because my recently recieved batch of juice from StrictlyEJuice is what caused me to finally bring this up. This has nothing to do with Strictly directly, since they're a reseller and not a juice manufacturer. Their service is exemplary, prices are outstanding, and shipping prompt. I think this is more an issue with Dekang juice in general, because I've experienced this with juice from a number of resellers that deal in Dekang products.

For reference, I've got USA Mix, Camel, Virginia, and Coffee from Strictly, all at 24 mg. All the juices have an underlying taste that I can only describe as formaldehyde , assuming it tastes like it smells (someone else mentioned a pine taste, and I suppose that could describe it as well, except chemically). The coffee starts off with a coffee taste, but then that chemical taste quickly overtakes it. The other flavors all have a hint of a tobacco-like taste, but then it's the same.

I'm wondering if it's as much a problem with my sense of taste as it could be a juice problem. I say this because I read numerous reviews of Dekang juices where people rave about them. If it was just one of my bottles, I could chalk it up to a bad batch, but all of them have this taste, and I'm not totally averse to the idea that the problem could be with me.

Has anyone else experienced this?

EDIT TO ADD: I'm expecting a bottle of Flue Cured from Rocky Mountain in the next day or two, and I understand their stuff is Dekang as well. I'll post whether or not it's the same as soon as I get the chance to try it out.

Ordered late Saturday night, received it today... and incedentally the usps tracking says my package is still in Cali..... once again strictly e-juice and Jane have gone above and beyond!!!!

I am trying the melon mint now.... it's not as swett as I pictured, but I can tell you I definately wanna try their mint or double mint.... the melon mint gives you that cool minty breath feeling!!! I can only imagine what straight mint would do!

^^^^ Have you tried any other juice as a reference? I was getting a funky taste out of mine a few days ago. Upon further inspection, I had a few polyfibers go rogue and claim my atomizer as their new home. Once I removed them it was problem solved.

As I only direct drip, I didn't consider that a possibility, but then I remembered that 510 atomizers have some kind of poly-somethingorother under the bridge. I checked, and it appears BOTH attys I've used and experienced this problem with had some of this material sticking out from under the bridge and showing a little charring. I opened up a new atty, burned off the primer, and gave it a shot, and what do you know! A very marked difference in flavor.

Thank you for bringing this up. You've solved what could have been a huge problem for me. Now I'm worried about what sort of bad crap I've been pulling into my lungs these past few days.

To the person who sent me an IM about my post, if you're using a 510 atomizer, see if that might be an issue for you.

Happy to help. I'll still take atomizer funk going into my lungs over regular cig chemicals any day of the week:thumb:

The website maintenance page says:

... it costs thousands of dollars annually to make our sites secure, as per Verisign, which will cost us to increase our prices and charge for shipping on all orders. Why? In case you did not notice, our products are offered at wholesale prices.
Huh. Verisign does costs $999 but they could just as easily get a cert from godaddy for oh about $100.

Not for me thanks. I mean, who starts an online business without a bit of secure transaction research first?
