OI have a question concerning the draw on the VMOD-XL. Mine has suddenly tightened up:confused:
I have removed the atty and once removed seems to draw just fine. Cleaned it up....checked the draw... re-installed and still the draw is tight:confused: I visually checked the internal threads and suspected an oring....nope orings are where they are suppose to be.....so what might be going on here? any ideas??

Try blowing your atty out in a paper towel, it sounds flooded, especially if it happened suddenly.

Also -- it could be you aren't getting air. I know you said cleaned up -- but did you give it a bath in hot water? It could be that the bottom air holes are clogged. Also--you could have re-assembled the chimney & cone too tight.

Other vmodians know this "air" area better than me --- so I'm sure someone else will chime in.

hmmmm... you might be on to something here.....i tossed a new atty on and voila....smooth draw....
so the tight draw is because the weee holes around the cylnder head just above the threads are clogged.....good advice tear, thank you :)

do i need to buy batteries or do they come with the "complete" XL kit? IF they do come with the kit, i just need to buy a charger correct?

The Vmod XL and the Vmod II are only be sold "a la carte" right now, I believe. They come with 1 atty & 1 carto and 2 drip tips.

That means you will have to buy a charger and batteries. The Vapage batteries have good reviews and both sizes are sold by Vapage. Vapage has only had a charger for the 14500's--so far. RTD and Super T are 2 popular battery sellers. I picked up a Pila charger when I got my first mod. IMO it's worth the splurge.
