Thanks Brian. And Kami -- you being able to start a thread proves it is correct data.

It all changed rather rapidly---so it's a lot of catch up reading to sort it all out.

And -- any member can post on the threads in the area (well -- after 5 posts anyway).

You just can't open a thread in the classies without meeting one of a few different options. Apparently some scammers discovered ECF and were ripping people off and it was becoming more prevalent and unsavory!

Got home yesterday to find the XL waiting for me. tried it for a while with both the AMG and silo that came with it. I am sorry to report that I am not quite impressed. I think I have become spoiled by my other PV and the HH357. A bit disappointed after such a long wait but maybe I'll give it another go and try another atty. I feel like I can't get the juice to feed correctly and got a burnt carto taste from the silo, and AMG also tastes metallic.

Hildi, there"s definitely a learning curve involved in feeding. It took me a week to get it right. Tilt and squeeze gently, no more than halfway, then a couple of hits without firing the atty sucks the juice up from the well and into the atty. This has what's worked best for me. But as you may have noticed from some other suggestions on how to feed, this is more of an art than science. Once I got the hang of it though, it's a quality, durable PV and IMO the best bottom feeder for the money. Also, I did find the universal atty that came with it a little less than satisfactory, so I swapped it for the non-universal BF and had much better results. Also works well with 306XLR DCCs and 510 LR DCCs, but again required more practice to get them fed. If you kept at it, you might find that you actually like it, but it does require patience and trial and error. The good news is that if an atty is over fed, you can just blow into the DT which will push the excess liquid back into the cup without leaking. Best of luck, hope it works out for you either way, but to put Smilee at ease, I'm quite content with mine, although a VV version would only make it better!

Thank you for your honesty:rickroll::pop:

Ok, so my fiancee is looking in envy at me and my XL and my diamond mod. She likes the battery life of an 18650. She's still using the Bloog MaxxFusion that we a started on ( which is a great system, don't get me wrong. I still use it for hands-free vaping). She's torn between getting an XL like mine, and a tube mod.( I want to keep her in 18650 land since that's the batteries I already have). Any recommendations from the peanut gallery? I'm honestly trying to talk her into a VMod XL since she doesn't seem to like changing flavors as much as I do ( which is why I carry 2 mods). Damn, I use way too many parenthesis.

why carry 2 mods?? carry the extra bottles and extra BF atty. so you can have more alone time with the V-mod XL. I bought the weekend case. put 3 18659 batteries, filled spare bottle, a drip tip and 2 BF atty.

I carry at least 2 mods . This way I can rotate -- and not overheat the atty or carto. It also works as a complete back up system and, of course, a change of flavor. After the day all 4 mini's died & pcc was useless while out on an afternoon shopping trip -- I upped the mAh and quickly went to 18650's.

Now, I carry the XL and his little brother(s) everywhere. I find this feeder to be great for on the go and the little guy really good around the analog people. (the smilee shell is a good converstion opener!).

Tube mods are great -- but with 18650 they get big, heavy and tall, especially with a carto tank. That's not purse friendly for me.

Man I'm excited about getting this package in!

There could be many reasons for this, including a clogged feed. You should be able to take off the mouthpiece and look down with a light when you squirsh. You should see juice come up, saturate the coil, and then recede. Only then is the burner ready for a few drags. If it's not feeding, take it apart, wash it, shake/dry it out, then operate it with the cover off to better see how it works. Don't forget you should see a bubble come up when you invert. Then right it, and slowly squirsh - and desquirsh slowly too to pull back extra juice.

Skinny will get on my case, but the truth is that Vapage's cartos and atties are not yet at the QA level he'd like. I have several Silos and BF Hybrids with crooked and loose coils. What happens then is that it burns juice (on glowing wire) and/or batting (if the coil is offset). Try an atomizer you know is good. I can assure you that this baby can vape at the top of the class.

Ok, does the extra cost for the .357 make it worth the cost?

i think so .... over the last month i have bought 4 different sizes and ohms ,,, after reading how folks like the 901 with drip shield think i will try that too
tongith one of mine felt like it needed cleaned so i soaked in in vodka for over an hour blew it dry loaded it up and within like 10 puffs was right back like it was new
the flavor just seems much more then the 306 i been using and i thoguht i was a carto guy but the HH357 has changed me to a dripper when i leave the house i take the XL with the hh357 and have best of both worlds lots of juice and great vapor
