The Vmod XL 18650 Bottom Feeding Mod from Vapage.com

@smilee, I have some of those "3000 mAh" *Fire wonders. Yeah, 1000 mAh, maybe. But they're OK for what they are, I've been chain-vaping on one for the last 6 hours on a 2.2 ohm atomizer. Oh, there it goes, time for a fresh battery.

The red AW IMRs can output more current, but it's not important, not worth the money, because the big 18650 size guarantees enough current anyway, and they're not the longest lasting. The AW Protected 2600 seem to vape the longest, for some mysterious reason. There are curves showing they outlast the AW Protected 2900 and 3100. But below 2 ohms, I've been able to run even those down during an afternoon. So, who cares, just have a decent 500+ mA charger, and keep a charged battery in a pocket that you don't keep your keys in ;-)

I bought the XL and the little brother bundle!! Waiting patietly. I just had to have both on hand. Oh yeah... Anyone know if the bundle comes with the 2.0 version or it it the 1.0? It doesn't say on the page, called Vapage... closed on weekends & checked the forums and couldn't find a thing.

Skinny will get on my case, but the truth is that Vapage's cartos and atties are not yet at the QA level he'd like. I have several Silos and BF Hybrids with crooked and loose coils. What happens then is that it burns juice (on glowing wire) and/or batting (if the coil is offset). Try an atomizer you know is good. I can assure you that this baby can vape at the top of the class.

I definitely like the BF attys.
Ferand, you sure have added it before, but would you again list the attys and cartos you find to perform best on the XL?

Whoa! Just for shipping? Are you choosing USPS? Mine shows with the "vapin15" discount to CA. with the More Carriers option $12.47 with shipping+ tax. for Silos and seals.

Dunno if USPS is a must for your shipping though

your soooo right about AW batteries....more $$$ and less performance IMHO...... I am not the a heavy vaper but they last only 5-7 hours.
I keep an extra in my automobile, and in my purse, and several in the house so I am never without a fresh battery. I only use the XL and a Ego with a COV tank when I am out....dang the XL is bullet proof, it flies around in my auto and takes a beating some days....but never fails me

When I started buying mods I went with the manufactures suggestions......AW IMR's so I have not experimented with different brands....so YES Ostinato I would like suggestions too

There is a post about half way back ..... I think it leaked when inverting the XL and squeezing

Yes that is the claim.... I ordered a VMOD v2 to find out...but I have not received it yet...so???
