Is there still a 50% off code?

Do you have to hold these upside down when squeezing juice?

And can u use a bottomfeeding dripper like an era, cyclone on the vmod xl?

Tell me more about the Era and Cyclone. I see it says bottom feed but I don't see any holes through the 510 connection that would allow juice to flow into it from the bottom. If they do and I'm not seeing it I'd be in for one. If they would work a 510/510 with a hole in it would be needed

Yeah the one I was looking at is on the classies.... its for a buddy.

I have a reo grand and a vv reo grand that I use the era and reomizer2, and a cyclone clone on.

They all have a hole in the 510 for juice bottomfeeding, they have dripper versions with no hole and bottomfeeding versions with the hole.

Micro coils in these drippers changed the whole vapegame for me.

My buddy wants a boxmod with a microcoiled dripper, he could deal with an a7 I think but wouldnt a dripper leak if you have to turn it sideaways or upside down to feed the juice?

I wonder why the vmods dont have a tube in the bottle like the reos?

You are welcome to mod one to do that if you like. :D

Most owners of Vmods prefer not to.

The Vmod has a unique chamber that stores a supply of liquid. One doesn't squank into a drip well. After filling the chamber, one tilts and taps the bottle. If it's modded with a long tube in the bottle, it still works, but not nearly as efficiently. Without that tube one can use nearly every drop in the bottle before refilling. I'd rather clean and refill with fresh liquid than fill over older liquid or throw it out.

It's a matter of choice.

I've used traditional attys for years on tilt and squank fed devices and had more leaking and difficulties with the squank devices. As always, YMMV.

Here's a thread on Modding a Squid for the Vmod. I'm sure the OP will be able to answer your questions much better than I.

it's my one year anniversary since I quit smoking this week and I wanted to mention that I got OFF stinkies using the VMOD!

I can honestly say that, without the vmod, I probably would not have been able to quit the stinkies.

I knew the first week that hanging ego batts off of usb cords and the lack of taste in clearomizers was just NOT going to work for me.

It was a whole new world when my ejuices hit the Vapage Hybrid atty. :) And I could change out my batteries and keep vaping.

So congrats to anyone starting down the road to Vmodia......it was very, very good for me. And the hand-holding I got from KatDarling, Tearose, and other vmodians was great........I went thru some tough days when I first got off the cigs, and I had a lot of anxiety. I could not have made it thru the experiences without my fellow vmodians!

I was looking for something and ran into this. I thought it might be interesting to bring it forward, as it's great info and something we (I) often forget about.

Clean yer contacts.

A reminder to all, and a nu point for nubies to the Vmod.

Clean yer contacts.

Get a freshly charged battery.
Take a QTip, dip in strong ethanol or isopropanol,
i.e. PGA or 90%+ Isopropyl alcohol, or even 151
Proof alcohol. If you have it, use contact cleaner.
Vigorously clean:

1) The whole bottom battery contact spring
2) The bottom of the battery itself
3) The whole "switch" contraption up-top
4) Especially the bottom plate of the "switch" contraption
5) The top of the battery itself, especially all sides of any
battery-magnet stack

Now use a dry QTip or other devices to friction-clean
(w/out alcohol) the atomizer nest and the bottom of
the atomizer.

Reassemble and vape.
You will not believe the difference.

Crocky --- I think he was talking about the contact part. The little metal part that touches the battery when you press the button. So, press the button and then clean the part. :toast:

I know when I think of cleaning contacts, I first think of cleaning the atty connector area.
Then once and awhile I remember the mod parts that touch the battery, and forget about the battery ends.

This poster took it one step farther, as he was very technical.

Glad you liked it Fourth---perfect timing? or mind reader? lol
