Still a learning process.....

My Vmod came with a 2.2 Silo and 2.0 BF atty. Both had no washers or seals on the bottom of them and worked fine. I ordered a couple 1.5 BF and 1.8 Silos. They came packaged with flat rubber washers on them just above the threads. I started using them on my Vmod but they were not performing well at all. Had a very tight draw. It seemed that the air and juice was not getting up into them.

I then removed the washers off the bottom. The flat washer was partially covering and restricting the slots in the bottom of the atty. They are performing great now. I don't understand why these washers are including on these?

They were part of the vmod version 1 seal system. They are not needed for the vmod2 or XL and should be removed. Glad you were able to discover that!

I imagine there is just plenty of stock that had them pre-installed and people using their original vmods who need them. At least one other feeder mod "fits" better with them, too.

Reporting back regarding the Aero from Avid on the XL.... just cleaned it last nite with a 1/2 hour cheap vodka soak... sweet. CLean as a whistle, less gurgling for some reason, almost feels like the AW IMR isn't firing, but tons of clean tasting vapor.
I ordered another (but it will be long while as it is paired with a custom 357). These are 1.5 by nature, and good match with the XL.
I've got a new 1.5 i06 on my Reo Grand and although the resistance is right, same battery, it's draw is tight as hell. Don't remember i06 being like that, but heard there are some issues.

They are the Smok Tech XL's from Crystal Clear Vaping. They work fine on my eGo batts and Lavatube. Maybe I need to pull the center post out a little on them?

Hmmm, you gave me pause so I tried a few Ressurectors on my VMODs. They work! No prob at all, but they do vape on the cooler side than on some other devices. (preferable to some... YMMV).

uke, you're definitely an Aero fan at this point, eh? Are you comparing them to the 357s, or just appreciative of both for differing reasons? Do I need to try an Aero? (Have 357s, love them.)

Just had an hour playing with attys. Aero really good, Hybrid ohm out at 1.3 that with a 3.7 battery gives me too high a wattage for the Bounty Hunter in the bottle. Cisco 306 truely magnificent flavor and vapor.

Swapped to the 4.8 battery with a 3 ohm Boge.

Great vapor and flavor with Bounty Hunter. Slightly different to the Resurrector at 3.7. Warmer but still good. Have to say that I think I prefer Bounty Hunter with cardos rather than attys and this proves it. Going to run this until the cardo dies.

Great video, thanks for sharing.

Oh and by the way, no need to change your English pronunciation of solder - to 'sodder' (or any other English words for that matter)! Why? Just speak the way you speak as it is clear and precise. When I first started watching modding videos on YouTube, I has no idea what sodder this, and soddering that - was actually supposed to mean! I was totally amazed when I discovered it was the American pronunciation for solder :D.

He told her that if she would just send him a pic of her self throwing the other mod with the door problem in the trash he would let her keep the 2.0 shell and send her a free 2.0 to put in said shell AS WELL AS a blue shell for her XL.

Now that's funny!!! :) :rickroll:
