Is there an oring in that bottle connection? If not, I'll just assume it's the bottle itself.
It is really hard to look in there, as the bottom of the vmod kinda prevents you sticking your eyeball close to look into that recess.

Yeah, there is a concave seal that looks kind of like a cut down top seal from a cartomizer. Normally a replacement seal is packed with the replacement bottles. You can use a sharp pick, a safety pin, or paperclip, bent on the end to remove it. Press the new one in slightly (concave side down) and then screw a bottle on until snug. Another possibility is that the bottle threads, or the bottle neck itself has a crack.
What TB said. Check the bottle first and check closely. Don't remember who it was, or where in the 9,000 pages in this thread it was, but there was a whole conversation about a leak and it turning out to be a small crack in one bottle, right where the neck flares out to become the top of the bottle itself. There was also a bit of conversation about how to lengthen the life of the bottle some by adding some spacers in location around the bottle to stop bottle movement and shifting when we press on it to feed.
If its not, again, like TB said, I remember posting when I opened up my original pkg and asking on the forum here what the heck that little thing was. If ya don't know, the unused one could very easily escape and never be seen again. The one in my device has made a break for it once. I had done a complete cleaning. Afterwards was inserting a bottle, and instead of a smooth tightening of the bottle, it seemed to be getting hung up on something. Found that itty bitty thing right at the edge of where you insert the bottle. I broke a tooth pick in half, flatten the end of the pick on the counter and used it to work the seal back down into place. First one side then the other, repeat.

There's a number of PROS about being our age......
We can play with and spoil the hell out of our grand kids, get them all hyped up on sugar, and then tell our kids to take them home when they get whiny.
We get discounts at some places I visit regularly.
I have a story for just about every occasion and I'm pretty good at telling them so my grandsons think I really cool...my 12 yr old grandson told that this weekend.
I'm retired. I get to do what I want when I want if I want....unless my wife tells me different....lol.
I know what makes my wife smile, giggle and.....well.....wink...wink
57 is the new 37..... Right?

Heh, I found it. I dont' think I"ve ever had that seal in except for the first week LOL It' must have fallen out the very first time I screwed the bottle out and I never noticed it. And nothing has leaked.......until recently.
I'm gonna call the piece "insurance" because I think that it doesn't necessarily leak without it.

I still have the little silicone washer thingie inside the chamber, but I suppose if it got lost one could fashion one from a carto condom, no? I also use a small piece of velcro behind the bottle, wedged in between the bottle and the flat part of the chassis, for extra stability.
Ready for more extra large e cig pics? These prolly stand around 16 feet high!!!!!

The Shifu master designed and built those for a Trade Show that they did in Vegas this last weekend.
The huge-mongous cartos were very interesting. The display was raised as you can see in the pic, but at the show it was to be on the floor. They had reps handing out samples from behind the "bar" (counter top section). How awesome is THAT!
