I just confirmed that one. But I will wait till V comes out with something VV or VW cause I like my 18650's. When is someone going to come out with the perfect PV already lol. They always come with a catch. Thats the reason I buy and sell 20 pv's per year :blush:Just cant find it. I want something stock and ready to rock. Something that doesn't have a version 2,3,4, or 5. So far the VXL is still good but put that atty on anything VV and it puts fixed voltage to shame. Thats fine and dandy if you like juice all over your Provari .

Just 18650's. I vape too much to use any lesser batteries. I kill an 18650 inside of a day. I am interested in kicking or evolving the VMod XL underneath the bottle. But for now am very happy at 3.7 on their 2.0 ohm atty that came with the device.

Hey GregNTulsa, I think that's a good plan. I really enjoyed my XL with 2.0 or 1.5ohm Shifu Atty's for a long time. It's a great vape; until you kick it and it's incredible. So enjoy as long as you can like that, but know that when it gets a little boring, you can Kick it! and get a whole new Mod!!

Nice atty, but not for the VMods. Those are better used with a VV/VW battery device, kicked device, or stacked battery manual mod, and are meant for direct dripping.

Curious that you haven't mentioned trying the Vapage hybrid attys. The 1.5/2.0 work the best with the stock VMod config. I tried the HH 357 atty on the VMod because I had a couple laying about, and they will work "ok", but found them to be waaay to "spitty". It was really annoying.

If you are looking to use a higher resistance atty on the VMod, greater than 1.5 or 2.0 at the most, then you will need to consider kicking it.

Noob here. I have the vmod xl completely stock.

I just received avidvapers cisco spec HR 306 3.0ohm atomizer with drip tip. Is this the correct one to use or would it be better to go to the LR 2.0 ohm? Thanks!

The 2 ohm or even 1.5 ohm would be good 3 ohm is way to high.

You're going to make me type it out, aren't you? LOL. Sqounk, sqwonk, sqwawnk, skwonk, whatever. I really have a problem with that term.

Man, I just fell on the floor on that!!! A lot of Vmodia has a problem with that term, not just you... Back to the original question, no I don't have any problems at all feeding the atty's I use. That is why I use them. The problem I have with the hybrids is it is either overfed and gurgly, or it is dry and burnt.... I use the tilt and feed while vaping method and have been using it for awhile now. Don't get me wrong, when the hybrid works, it is a very good vape, but to me the Cisco spec 306 is consistent every vape for me. I might get a dry hit once a day or so, but it was because I wasn't paying attention and thought it was fed and actually it wasn't. I have to tilt and vape the hybrid every time I vape and that tends to lead to flooding and a mouthful of liquid very quickly. I have to tilt and vape the 306 for quite a long hit for it to do that. I have been using the 306's for almost 1 1/2 yrs now on everything I vape and it is consistent on everything I put it on, but I enjoy it the most on the XL.... It just has been the warmest and tastiest vape I have ever had, not to mention the clouds of vapor it puts out. My brother and his smoking buddies are very envious when we are out and I am in the smoking crowd and I am blowing bigger clouds than any of them with their analogs!!!!! There is no such thing as stealth vaping with my XL.....lol

What a great surprise Vapemail today! My XL replacement chassis arrived!! Thank you, thank you, Vapage!! I'm going to be so glad to get this baby up and running again. And, to top it off, now I can justify placing a good size order for those hybrid atties with that 30% off sale happening right now. That atty has been a real work horse for me. Now I admit - I'm not hugely experienced with atties but when I find something that just works and works like this one, well ... I stick with it. I guess I'm kind of lazy like that ... ;)

However, putting my gear back together has brought up something that I remembered wondering about from before. The batteries that Vapage sells are also great and really hold a charge fantastically well. But ... they really, really squish down that spring! I mean to the point where the spring rolls over from the pressure. I'm thinking that can't be good for it and eventually it will break. Anyone have any thoughts on that or just simple go to another battery that is smaller in size? I find it hard to believe that they would sell a battery that wasn't good for the VModXl but ... that poor spring!

Again .... THANK YOU, THANK YOU Vapage!

Fingers are crossed on that one. Every aspect of this thing scores a A+ otherwise. I did let one of the 1.5 hybrids leak all over my vv pv for a while just to see what it was like. Made me a believer in the kick but I dont have any 500 or 490's or a kick, so its really not worth the investment. Id rather sell this one to help pay for an upgrade so I would not have to buy anything else.

Nice to here you got your chassis back FisherPal....:vapor: I know since I got mine back in action I have been a very content camper. As far as the spring goes, mine has always been like that with either battery setup I used. I use the Panasonic CGR's for 18650 and AW's for 18490 w/ kick. The spring is always on a little bit of an angle most times unless I take the time to make sure I am putting it in straight. Happy vaping...
