Mike, did you wire the charger thru the dna board or just directly to the battery?

I wired it directly to the battery.

I asked the question through the Evolve site, if I could use a 1amp board, but I never got an answer. I read about one Modder who had trouble using a 1 amp charger thru the DNA so I decided not to chance it.

Hey Mike, keep seeing mention of a group buy for some dna boards after the new year....where is that going to be posted. I may hold off a bit longer so I can get some more research done.

In answer to your question, as Tibs said get verified and that allows you into the co-ops. First it will be in the planning stage then in the active co-ops.:)

The first place it will show up is in the "CoOp Planning and Discussion" forum here:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/coop-planning-discussion/
Thats where we make sure there is enough interest to support a large quantity purchase.

From there it will firm up and turn into a Live CoOp which would be a thread in the "Active CoOps" forum here:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/active-coops/
Active members in the Discussion and Planning thread would be given advance notice (via PM) as to when the Live Co-op would be scheduled to start. I do that because these co-ops often sell out fast, and its only fair to give the people who helped firm up interest the first shot at joining in.

As Tibs pointed out, you wont be able to see either of these threads unless you are a "Verified" member.

I wont open the DNA Co-op Discussion thread until I firm this up more, as in getting firm pricing and availability. I honestly dont see that happening until January sometime. For one thing I am getting ready to fall off the grid for a week so I wouldnt have time to monitor the thread. Plus, the DNA30 has not even been released yet. Dont want to put the cart before the horse.

Bap! You are The Man!

Fits perfectly! Will work GREAT.

Installation will be a breeze. All you need is one small drop of glue to hold it in place.

One small improvement might be to add a small dado (1/3 the depth of the 2 along the sides) along the back wall to help seat it better. However it is perfectly usable as is.

Now I have to write Shapeways. First I need to confirm that I ordered three of these, just in different colors. Although I am pretty sure I did.

What they sent me was two in this design, and one that appears to be the deep wall (for wood mods) design.

Notice the black one is deeper walled, no dado, and no third wall stop.

Is the screen centered left to right?

How about up and down? I opened it up just a smidge, mamu wanted it the exact same width as the screen. But where this was sliding in I thought a little extra clearance might be handy.

The clearances are great, just enough, but not too much.

I put it in upside down so you can see the centering better.

I think the centering would actually be helped by that dado on the 3rd wall that mentioned.

I can do that, but I will have to increase the wall thickness so it can be printed.

How much do you think it needs to go to be centered? I have it centered based on the info I have.

From my naked eye it looks pretty well centered. I think what I am seeing is the slight jaggedness of the edge of the glass butting up against the 3rd wall. Light reflects off that edge making it appear more pronounced. In your original design that reflection off the edge of the glass wasnt visible because the edge of the glass went further into the bezel covering it.

I have to run out right now, let me actually power it up later this evening and take a look that way. Looking at it under bright lights is probably showing stuff (reflections) you wont see in actual use.
