Sneak peek at the WIP Poldiac project. Need to get going on the shirt and this afternoon I should have parts to see if I can integrate a kick2 and switch into the switch housing.

Mr. Bap, you are awesome. I wish I had the tools and the know-how to use them properly to be able to do the cool things that you can do. I have built a handful of wood DNA20 mods and I love them. There is a certain sense of satisfaction vaping off something that you yourself have assembled. I use to visit all the various sites, and forums and threads here that highlight all the cool mechs and other highend gear. Now, I only find myself visiting the battery mods forum here on ECF. This is the coolest forum ever. I am mad at myself for spending thousands (sad, i know) chasing all the "unicorn" mods out there, and not finding this forum sooner. I love learning how to do this stuff. Thanks to all the modders out there that have taught me what little i know so far.

Progress.....don't mind that the top is a little fat....I left it a little fat while I cut the hole for the button because I knew it would chip the front edge of the hole....so hopefully now when I sand it down I will have a nice squared off button hole. Also don't mind the white/clear spot....the wood must have had something funky going on there because it is full of epoxy from glueing the wood to the tube....I picked up a trick from seasoned wood workers that should be able to pretty much blend that spot into the rest of the wood.

I'm also thinking about bagging the external wattag adjustment. I think doing it might take away from the simple elegance that I think this will have when finished???? Idk.....still undecided at this point....if I do bag it I will still integrate the kick into the switch housing and just have it so the top cap has to be taken off to adjust the wattage.

Waiting for my Raptor parts for my weekender. Cutting window, PITA, glad I have Baps frame to cover my slips.:D

I drilled two 3/8" holes towards the the right and left edges of the window, then used a dremel cutoff to take out the "hourglass" in between. Then filed it fit.

There was a question of way use a lipo over the round cell 18650's

Below is why and I plan verify there is that much difference.

Sony 18650 US18650VTC3 30A 1600mAh - 12mOhm internal resistance
LG LGDAHE21865 2500mAh 30A batts - 13mOhm internal resistance
Orbtronic SX30 18650 30A 2100mAh - 19mOhm internal resistance

Turnigy nano-tech A-SPEC - 1.2mOhm internal resistance
