Got my enclosure, batteries and charging board yesterday. Once i get all my stuff i'll attempt a build thread! I'm sure i'll need some help along the way!
So Bap, what was you take on the Aqua? What build worked best for you?
I have 2 of them broke down and in the Ultrasonic now, already gave them the alcohol bath.
It was funny, even though they both look to have come from same factory, the one that came from the pre-order had wicks and coils that actually looked pretty damn good. I would have even used them if it wasnt for the machine oil smell, while the wicks that came from FT look absolutely horrible.

Hey bap, with that setup the dremel does all the work and the lathe is just like a steady rotating hand?

I tried a few horizontal coil builds and one vertical coil build, and at most the best I could get for my taste was just ok. Nothing compared to a single coil TGT.

......I had been meaning to set it up for wood but wondered how it would work with aluminum. It worked good with aluminum, just had to go slow. I'm sure it will be wonderful for wood.

Idk....some people really like the aqua.....I hope you or someone figures out how to make them shine
yea i like the Cobalt Blue also, i think it's going to look really good with ss looking switches and fire button. Undecided on what color bezel still tho.
You'll never guess what my first stab was........
A single long stick of AO going through the middle with a long 1.5 ohm coil, carefully gaped in the middle to prevent shorting against the posts. Wrapped some hemp as feeder wicks.
It is working OK, still playing with the juice control, takes a lot of watts though.
Hmm, with SS buttons the ALuminite Bezel would look good, it has a metallic glitter to it.
Looks better in person than in the photo.
If you don't mind me asking, which bezel is that? The ones I found didn't have that lip.
