I found the Groove board challenging to put in a plastic case. The DNA will be much easier, putting the buttons and USB charge port anywhere I want vs. fixed positions...

It looks OK at ~5 feet, but it's ugly up close. I won't be using plastic cases in the future, for many reasons. Atty's heavier than a Protank make it top heavy. There is such a thing as too light.

So I'm relatively new here, but I've read most of the thread....

Am I missing something in regards to a coop?

Mike, you mentioned making a m22x1.5 jam nut. Can I purchase that somewhere else if needed? I was thinking of using a brass m16 sentinel top cap.

Thanks for the good and look forward to following your builds

Sent from my mod using 18650 batteries...

hi mike!
got my order from ft a taifun and a kafun and while I am at it also got some of those 510 to 510 connecters with the jam nut ...
I like them ! for smaller mods at least . the threading seems to be better than others I have .
on the kafun ...no air cant figure out why. playing with cotton and mirocoil. one thing I don't like on them is ..no way to open them without dumping all the juce just to rewick [ first coil 3.2 ohms ] to high . now figure out why no air ... drilling ??

Cant help with the Kayfun, never warmed up to mine much. The Taifun is my atty of choice these days. Easy to fill, easy to coil, and has a decent size tank.

I am really bummed out. My ECD meter got fried. Testing a .8ohm on the Raptor at 25 watts, a spark and then that God awful smell of burnt electronics. Now it just flickers permanent readings and no current goes thru it. SJ where are you on the new model?

A spark from where? The ECD meter? Why would it spark?

I've been wanting to get one, but haven't taken the plunge yet.
