On the edge of insanity..
Got the 6 Groove boards in. Tested them all with the Russian with the R41 1.25 ohm. Set at 6 volts or 15 watts, they all give me 14.9 watts on the ECD. So until I get the Tibs2 I will tape a few parallel batteries to these.. ;)

Finished my first of the Groove boards the other day. Christmas gift for a buddy. The remote was his idea

Thanks for the heads up on the boards BJ! :)

Howdy folks! Hope ya all had a Happy and Safe Holiday!

I just got my Taifun GT, and I need some advice as i cant find a pic in the threads. If I do a vertical coil, can the coil touch the air tube? Is it insulated enough or do i have to have it above the tube slightly?
As usual your Help is appreciated! :toast:

Got my 91% from Shek and vertical with hemp is terrific!

Do y'all have any idea how difficult it is to type with a TGT in one hand and a 3D in the other?? What do you mean put one down? I think, so far, that the bottom fed devices still have superior flavor, but not by far. Just an uneducated guess, but I believe that the chimney style delivery does something to concentrate the flavor more than any other style. The air chamber on the 3D is not large, but it is not as small as the chamber on the TGT or KFL.

A 'regular' dripper has the advantage of being able to change flavors rather quickly, such as for trying out different juices back to back. The 3D wins on adjustablity of airflow, and for sustained vaping. The plunger idea is a good one. You can drip a new flavor into the top and that will work as long as you don't forget and hit the plunger... yep, I did that. The 3D is fairly short compared to the TGT and that makes it easier to cart around.

That 20 watt looks nice, except for the use of shaking to change settings. The link mike posted implies another model in the works, 22 watt and no shaking required.

I suppose you folks saw this monstrosity... KSD Newest 134 style Vamo Mod E-huge---Shenzhen Kangside Technology Co., Limited No more powerful than a Vamo and the pics imply you can stack 26650's. It actually looks like a Vamo control head is hiding in there, basically unaltered.

BJ, is that a simple 18650 battery holder you used, did you remove the contacts or just separate them? I need a parallel 18650 holder ASAP and don't know if something simple will do or if I need one like Mike used in the "WeekEnder".

How do you think it will compare to the tgt?

Sent from inner space

IDK....it will be interesting to see as there is quite a bit of difference between the two. From the feed system, to the larger chamber and side air.

Need to get scrubbing and there is a couple of places that need some smoothing so they don't tear up orings.

Just a simple 18650 parallel holder, no removing anything, two black wires on one end and two red wires on the other end.:)
