I have a question for you guys that order from WL. If I buy the 18mg Nic juice with 70/30 pg/vg do I need to add anything but the flavorings to it? I want to handle the liquid as little as possible and if I am correct then this would be my best option! Thanks guys!

If you add up to 20% PG flavoring, you will have a mixture that is no lower than 14,.4 mg/ml.
In other words, by adding flavoring you won't lower your nic level too much. The mixture won't be 70/30 but slightly higher in PG.

Just wanted to peek my head in to say thank you to those who have taken the time to post their reviews. I placed my very first DIY order today through Wizard Labs and am hoping that my concoctions will be vapeable. I ordered:

48mg Nic Base
PG Bottle o' Stuff
Flavors
Gloves
Extra Syringe
Bottles

Is there any advice for a vaper who is a DIY newb? I saw some videos and would love to save some $$ by making my own. Bought a few each of what I think will be my favorite flavors and they are along the same flavor style so I can mix 'em up and see what happens.

Wish me luck!!

if i can you can, i have only made two flavors so far and they are not perfect but not too bad for just starting out, start with single flavors first, I made the mistake of jumping in with three and it was horrible, plus i had no idea which one of the three was the offender, also they are completely different the next day, I was familiar with minor flavor change from steeping in premixed juice but that stuff had already been in the mail a few days, the first 24 hours of steeping is dramatic.

Here is a trick about DIY that always works for me. Not sure if its all in my head or what. Some flavors are just not worth a dam and end up in the drain but most of the time I mix the flavors I hate together they turn out a lot better. Maybe not the best but useable. Let us know if you have any issues and we will try to help.

I just noticed that WL flavor list recently went from 2 pages to 3. while i have not studied it enough to notice all the new flavors i did notice that Strawberries and cream is now in the list. I got a free sample of it thrown in with my last order. It has a clean, smooth strawberry taste, without tasting harsh or with too much citrus type flavor. It is fine as a stand alone flavor and is great sweetener as a mix with ry4, coffee and in a strawberry cream pie mix. good stuff.

I would like to see flavor descriptions. For instance, one new flavor i see is vanilla swirl, with a picture of soft swirl ice cream in a waffle cone. this one seems pretty easy to figure out but can't they say whether it has a waffle flavor to it?

Nice! New flavors...pretty sure these are also new.
Chrysanthemum Flavor (TFA)
Creame De Menthe Flavor (LA)
Holiday Spice (TFA)...This would the the one suckering me into an order I don't yet need
Horchatta Base (TFA)
Mint Candy (TFA)
Praline Flavor (LA)
Tropical Punch (LA)

There are a number of others too that are the LA versions of previously stocked TFA flavors (at least I think that's the way it went - there have long been many more TFA than LA stocked).

I did not care for the Strawberries & Cream (thought I certainly appreciate a freebie!). What % did you mix that at? Maybe I'm way off @ 10%. Also, I'm curious what you tried it on? I'd had a strawberry before that was pretty good at low watts but was horrible when you went higher at all and then stuck in atties. I think that may be the case with this flavor too - it smells very similar.

I had this code on hand from the beginnings of Yet Another Juice Recipe Tool of some sort where I hope to have the flavor entries be specific wrt name/vendor.

I've been ordering from WL about 5 months now.. Either it is a nic order with a few flavors, or 20 bucks or so of flavors. I mixed up about 30 fifteen ml botles worth of vape juice on sunday and I had so many little vials alllll over my kitchen table. The pile of empty vials to be washed and recycled is now growing.

I have a question to the vets who have been using WL for a long time to years. HOW to do store the tiny vials? I wish I had a tiny plastic grate or something I can just pop the vials in. Someone came to my door and I had to get up suddenly and about 15 vials were knocked over at the same time. They were sealed, no spills but it seemed to take forever to get the table back in order to keep mixing.

Already received my order--have to say that I'm impressed already. Packaging was top notch, shipping super fast and I've already started my first DIY. I did a test batch with one flavor and tested.. is a little weak but will see what happens after it steeps for a couple of days. Was kinda tasty so am not going to add flavor till I've let it settle a bit.

Hi everyone! I just found out about this thread! Awesome! I ordered some stuff through Wizard Labs this week and this guy named "John" went WAY out of his way to help me! So I was so excited to find out that WL has this thread!

Several friends and I are starting a DIY Juice project...and I'm going to send them this link, too!

Thanks, Wizard!!!!!

We would all love to follow along with the project but to be clear. This is not an official WL thread. I just started it for us WL customers to share info and people on the fence to know what they can expect. DIY is the only way to go IMO. Not that I can mix anything like I have ever tried. Its more so the prices for me. Thanks for posting here. :toast:

Drill holes in a chunk of 2x4 the right size to drop the vials in.

Good luck :)

I think it's going to be a mixing night here too! I've been getting bored with my juice lately...time to get creative (and hopefully remember to take good notes!)

i've only been DIYing a few months but it is never too soon to keep good records. i keep all my recipes in a single text file. I also put the flavor percentages on the label of each bottle along with the made on date. i use address labels and cover them with tape. i try to leave at least a quarter inch wide vertical clear area to be able to monitor how much i have left.

I have several pieces of thick styrofoam that I've salvaged from shipping packages. They are about 2" thick. I drill shallow holes to hold the vials and also my tanks, drip tips, attys, tanks and bottles of juice for my DIY. It's cheap and efficient. (drill outside though or you will hate your error!)
Not the classiest holder, but it works for me
