I saw their Eliminator tour, and was ecstatic that they played so much of their old stuff. It's been a while (and it was the early 80s so, ya know...) but I think they opened with Jesus Just Left Chicago. Didn't matter - I was in rock and roll heaven - they played for over 3 hours!!

It would be impossible for me to say which of their songs is my favorite... but that one is where I always start, when I open my blues playlist.

I dont think there is a ZZ top song I dont love but I have to say, the old classic blues of ZZ top are my favorites.

I would have to add to that Phil Collins In the air, dont care anymore, midnight moonlight- The Firm, Kings and Queens, Aerosmith, come together aerosmith or Beatles, guitar gently weeps, beatles, Zepplin- Battle of Evermore and a bunch others
I mean just listen to this and tell me it doesnt deserve to be in the playlist.

All great songs, but I have to go with Jeff Healey's version of While My Guitar Gently Weeps... or anything Jeff Healey - I think I had a crush on him for a while when I first discovered him in the 90s lol

I got their first album when it came out (1979?). All my friends were rockers (me too) but I dug that new sound. Some of my friends called it punk rock (they had no idea lol)
