I said nothing about an iStick20 nor would it suit my wants and needs. For one thing not enough power and it willnot go below battery voltage for tootlin my lung hits.
However a 50 watt regulated mod that is compact and works well does suit my needs as well as a Radius or a dna 40 would. I do not do TC. If I do TC I think I like the 75W VTC mini I have better than a dna 40. Much nicer menus. And does TCR.
But then as I said I do not do TC. Maybe someday.

I like the Radius but my expense account does not. I do like the quick battery change better on either the VTC mini or the Kbox Mini.

Ooooooo you said Lung Hit!!!!;):D

Can anyone help me identify the wood I just made this drip tip out of? I think it's Madagascar Ebony. :|

Perhaps but not from that image, sorry. Looks exotic. ;)
Also your "American" Walnut nice as it is doesn't look much like Black Walnut.
Is American walnut something other than black walnut?

I have some nice seasoned Black Walnut and Cherry wood.
I think I will make a stab wood mod out of one or the other.
Someday...

some black walnut is darker and more even in color. Depends on the tree and where you get it from. Same with cherry wood.

Boden,
Have you checked out that recycled wood place at Midland and 3rd?

I also have access to some 100 yr old plus Chestnut.

HOLY SCHNIKEY!!!!!!!!!! I just got some Clapton wire off the slow boat, and I wrapped my first coil. 7 wraps, 1 ohm, 3 mm and loaded a Velocity. A measley 35W and I could still climb!

I'm sooooooooo glad I put 3mg jooz in there

Can't imagine dual coils!!!!!

I love my claptons. And yes dual coils are sweet. I usually build them to around .5 and vape them at between 45-55 watts. It takes a little boost to get them up to speed but I enjoy the flavor off them.

I'm thin on super high power mods. I have the evic Mini upgraded to 75W and an iPV Mini 2. I have some Sammy R25 batteries. Would those be sufficient or would I be safer with a dual battery mod?

You should be good for 75 watts on a 25R.

Like Robert said I also don't see a problem.

That's no fun. Show us the F-bombs! (j/k)

Well, some like it rough...

Jay :headbang:

Yeah, I fergit if it was Zoidman or DavidOck, but one of them suggested I drop the failed one on the ceramic tile and give it an ejuice bath (as I did the other one that still works!), show it who's boss. :D I just electrical-taped the top of it and took it to Home Depot for recycling. :D

Hooooo dawgies. Mine is 26/32. The other style I think was 24/30. I don't think I'll go that route.

It's fun tho!

Is just eastern Black Walnut.

Yes indeed that pic is pretty typical Black Walnut.

Here's the offcut.

I would say it is a good chance that is Madagascar Ebony. Whatever it is, it is nice timber, hard on tools? Madagascar Ebony is abrasive.

Yes there can be a great deal of natural variation. The lighter part of Boden's walnut image is sapwood, the darker heartwood. Cherry sapwood is very blonde as well.
