Claptons harder to clean?
Always some crud left under the top wrap?
Nice video, Boden! That looks simple enough to do. @DingerCPA I don't think you'll need to buy a fancy jig. This looks like it works just as well.![]()

Was the concern about the hinged battery? Because that is one thing holding me back on the stout. To me it doesn't seem that it will last long with continual opening and closing.
I will do a thorough examination of the door on Saturday and report back.

I wasn't concerned with the 'swivel' as I was with the final resting/stop of the battery door
THEN, watching tape, I spotted MikeVapes "missed" the hooking device (leading edge of batt door)
several times (as per pic #1 & #2)
then more tape, I seen Matt (sukmymod) allowed the 'catch' to be seen (pic #3)
but I still don't know if there some kind of "latch" to firmly hold it in place (once closed)
other than spring pressure from battery spring...

It looks like a better battery door than the old iTaste VTR. Look it up and see how its just a tiny latch that holds the swing-down door shut. Mine hasn't given out surprisingly, but I remember way back when I would use a button top, if I didn't put enough pressure on it when closing it, the battery would fall/fly right out due to not being fully latched(User Error). Still, works perfect! That's my thinking as well. That the door is held in place by the pressure of the battery. I'm also concerned that repeated use where there is only one point holding the door itself will eventually fail. There would be nothing more depressing than having a working mod with a broken battery door.
I vape in whatever range I can tolerate. What does that make me?

Smart.
Seriously though, that's how I also vape -- but in my case, it means I'm a tootle puffer, because I can't tolerate anything more intense than that. Everyone is different, and everyone probably has different tolerances at different times -- most enjoy a milder vape when they first wake up, and some want more nicotine then. It just depends on you, and what's going on at any given time. A label does not define anyone -- it's mostly all in fun anyway.

I try to constantly push the amount I can vape. I'm also trying to recover from being a two pack a day smoker. So far, tonight (and it will be less in the morning for some reason. Probably because it's like 30 degrees F outside and I sleep with my window wide open and the heat to this room cut off) I can take a 5s lung hit at 35 watts. As time goes by, I will try to take longer hits, or up my wattage.a tolerable tootle puffer… ?
