Dark horse with a Clapton build :p

My dark horse was pretty bland on flavor, till I put a dual Clapton on it.... Then bam! Flavor city
Sent with one hand, the other is busy vaping.
I'll put that in reserve. Never did a Clapton and that might be too much like searching :)

Right now the best flavor dripper I have is the TOBH. The magma is good but too restrictive air flow for me now. Will to try the troll tonight.
I like a lot of airflow that I can dial back too. I think you will like the Troll. Let me know how it compares to the TOBH and Magma.

Informal polling... your most flavorful dripper for under $50 (clones are fine, I'm cheap :) )

The two I mentioned the Derringer and the Samurai Bonsai are out of this world for flavor, they both blow my Magma clear away. That said, theyre lung hitters, but once you try em its kinda shocking at how smooth it actually is when youve got the right atty. When I first tried my Derringer, it knocked me off my feet at how flavorful it was. Im still not sure why but the Samurai Bonsai even tops that. Design-wise theyre practically the same thing, the only big differences are the Bonsai has slits for airflow as opposed to the Derringers triple holes, and the Bonsai has a dual hole positive post, where the Derringer only has one. The post doesnt matter so much to me anyways since Im just a single coil guy. Im not interested in clouds myself, but they put out a seriously bigger amount of them than my old Kayfuns did, and I dont mind it so much nowadays. Ive been using the chuff cap on the Bonsai the last couple of weeks and yeah I gotta watch it or I get caught vaping in the house where Im not supposed to haha. Its still not one of these ridiculous cloud chasing machines you see everywhere, but I gotta keep the window down when Im driving too, at night I can easily fog it up and not see where Im going.

Both of mine are clones. The Derringer is a Tobeco which ran me around $20 I think, and the Bonsai was an $8 Angelcigs clone, and theyre actually blowing them out at like $4 right now. I gotta get a couple more just for safe keeping before theyre gone cause its my #1 dripper.

I kinda still want to give a Freakshow Mini a try but its the same bottom airflow design as the Magma, which to me means its gonna leak when juice condensates on the deck and runs out the airhole. No matter how far back I push my wick, or how low/high/away from the airhole Ive tried to build my Magma, it ALWAYS leaks. Even with the o-ring on the AFC trick. Mine leaks just sitting there doing nothing even. The Hastur by Cthulhu Mods is another Id like to try too, I just wish they kept the naming convention with the Lovecraft theme like their Cthulhu RTA. I was really hoping they would call it the Dagon or the Azagthoth haha.

I lung hit. Good suggestions. A lot of people like the Derringer for flavor. I've thought about the Freakshow Mini but I don't like the potential leak problem either. I was thinking about the new Sapor, and there are a few good comments here about it in terms of flavor. Top air flow... even I might not be able to overfill it. Something I'm good at with the Troll. It was hard at first but I seem to be getting better at overfilling now :-x

I tried to build a dula coil with 28 AWG Ni200 on the Troll and I couldnt get the Ohms high enough. Said it was .02 Ohms and wouldnt fire so pulled one side out and checked it and it was .08 ohms. Good enough. Put it on the new Snow Wolf and gave it a vape. Not bad, decent enough flavor but actually too airish. Set it to only two of the three slots was open on one side and vaped it for a bit. Vaped it dry a couple times with no dry hits and then busted out the new bottle of Mothers Milk. OMG, flavor beyond this world. Sweet sweet strawberry cream goodness with a hint of cake in the back ground.
Massive amounts of clouds. House looks like a fog bank has rolled in. But also massive flavor. I have the Snow Wolf set up to 400 F and for me that is perfect. It is showing firing as high as 70 watts. The vape is warm but not hot and chain vaping it, its not getting hot to the touch so the temp control is doing a great job. All in all I would give the Troll a thumbs up. Now for the downside. It goes thru massive amounts of juice quickly. Already put a good size dent in that bottle of mothers milk.

Well, I only have three types of RDAs - Atomic (Ehpro), Mini RDA (Fasttech), and my new Nimbus V3 that I just scored from Vapenw for $6.

Wrapped dual coils, landing at 0.7 ohms, running 15W on my new iStick, and I'm VERY amused. I think I'm going to open the holes, as I like a slightly looser draw, but for $6, I'm NOT disappointed at all.

It's a little easier to coil than the Atomic, and quite a bit easier to coil than the Mini RDAs (and the Nimbus has a little bit of a well, so I can drip about 0.5mL without overflowing.

But all of them are fun for me. I'm looking at modding an Atomic and a Nimbus so I can run them on my Smokeless Owl. Just have to get the guts to dremel a channel in the contact screw :)

You know.... Massive fog bank clouds require massive amounts of fuel :)

I've been wanting to try an RDA but I'm too busy to drip...any RDA's that come with a tank, even at least 2ml?

Actually I would descibe some of my RTAs as self dripping RDAs. Focloud is a Magma with a tank. Aqua v2 and Aromamizer also.
