I don't seem to have one of those -- mine looks like this, the arrow pointing to the only o-ring that's below the deck: (it was the first one I replaced, and when that didn't work, I replaced all the others too).

That o-ring is only for the kayfun V4, it isn't there on the other ones.
Have you tried switching the chimneys around to see if that is the problem? Switch the one that leaks with the one that doesn't. The bases are the same size, the top part can be different height so just keep the appropriate top to the KFL it fits.
The more I read about the v4s, the gladder I am that I haven't wasted any money on one.

I might try that! I've noticed different heights on the chimneys between the Tobecos and the EHpro I have, so maybe the chimney on this particular Tobeco just isn't "spec."

The KF4 is an amazing atty, I love it. They do take a little bit of assembly when thoroughly cleaning them, but very easy to rewick and fill.The more I read about the v4s, the gladder I am that I haven't wasted any money on one.

That is the great thing about Kayfuns they are all mix and match, I have my KF4 bell cap on my Silverplay, and have put my Undead top with it's green tank on the KF4. People have even put the Silverplay base on the KF4, which looks good but reduces functionality IMHO, same as the Goblin base with the KF4 tank.

I did love my kayfuns. The V4's never leaked on me unless I left them in a hot car. But sadly I dont really like them anymore. The Subtanks airflow ruined me on the Kayfuns. Too restrictive now for my preference. I will still tootle on them some but they are not my main go to by a long shot. Even gave a few away.
