May I ask what percentage you tried it at?
I been thinking on fruit vapes for a few days now. I have some that I ordered in the last batch that has that horrible artificial cheap perfume taste and I am wondering it I backed it down on the percentage (I test at %5) and add a touch of sweetner and something to smooth it like a vanilla if it will make it an actual enjoyable vape. I am going to have to do some experimenting to see what I can come up with.
I tried it at 5 drops per 10 ml. Was a bit weak, but beginning to taste artificial. at 10 drops it was probably a good strength but getting bad artificial. at 15 drops it was horrible artificial to me. Actually at 10 drops/10ml it was causing my lips and mouth to tingle as many artificial ingredients do.
I had to give up on the CAP Strawberries and Cream for the same reason.
Do not judge the Shisha strawberry by my reaction I have the bitter gene curse.
For smooth fruit flavorings I recommend Flavor Concentrates brand. NO artificial ingredients just smooth flavor and they do not go wonky if you mix strong they just get stronger. Their blueberry is excellent. Strawberry is nice but better if touched up a bit with CAP Sweet Strawberry. Watermelon is nice as well. Banana too.
Orange and coconut are nice but strong use with caution.
And their vanilla is uber strong.

I'm really not a fan... but my husband is.
He's turned me on to a lot of great music that was somewhat "before my time" -- pretty much all of Neil Young; Traffic; Blind Faith; early Floyd; apprising me that the Stones are a Blues band, not a rock band, which totally changed my opinion of them; Bob Dylan, who can't sing a lick but writes the most amazing songs; and Zappa and the Dead -- only the last two have I been unable to warm up to, but I think both are a case of "you had to be there." In exchange I've opened his consciousness to Rush; Cheap Trick; Jethro Tull; early Elton John; and greatly increased his appreciation of Yes, simply by virtue of about 5 yrs when I played little else, as well as two concerts I was positively rabid to see.

Flavor Concentrates - Highly Concentrated Natural Flavoring - Flavor Drops A bit higher priced than others but free shipping and free glass dropper bottles if you select them. The peach is good too. But both the peach and banana are better if touched up a bit with ripe peach and ripe banana. The banana if better after some steeping, most are shake and vape but gain a bit with steeping. I sweeten with Liquid stevia from GNC.
Artificial sweetners leave a horrible chemical taste in my mouth. The taste from siphoning gas goes away quicker.

Just an fyi I have not found an Inawera flavor I can handle yet. Some TFA are ok. Of course have not tried them all either
I like Dynamo Hum... I'm the Slime... Dirty Love... and Montana, a bit... but most of the rest of it... I wish he'd "shut up and play his guitar" as his album title puts it. He mostly sounds like a self-conscious, self-amused idiot, with his ramblings, but he can really play.
