I try to constantly push the amount I can vape. I'm also trying to recover from being a two pack a day smoker. So far, tonight (and it will be less in the morning for some reason. Probably because it's like 30 degrees F outside and I sleep with my window wide open and the heat to this room cut off) I can take a 5s lung hit at 35 watts. As time goes by, I will try to take longer hits, or up my wattage.

Umm... why? There's no contest or anything. All you need to vape is enough to keep from smoking. That's it. You don't win a prize for taking in the most vapor or holding it the longest.

That's my thinking as well. That the door is held in place by the pressure of the battery. I'm also concerned that repeated use where there is only one point holding the door itself will eventually fail. There would be nothing more depressing than having a working mod with a broken battery door.

I just got a response from Vape-Forward, the door does use a spring loaded ball bearing detent type system to secure the door and I'm sure the battery tension plays a part in preventing rattle. Easy to test, pull the batt close the door and give it a shake.

just re watched a video where boss Charlie (of Vape Forward) said it was magnetic
but wanted it to be better, so they made it spring loaded ball-bearing for a more robust closure...

forgot he also said all boards are made by Texas Instruments (USA) and sent to wismec/joytech for assembly

:)

Looks to be a very solid design and honestly a breath of fresh air, I'm sure it won't be long before we see it on some other brands mods.

The average user will likely only open the batt door a couple times a day, i think it'll be ok...and if not you'll actually be able to reach the company that made it.

Wismec?

Although hopefully VF will have US based service for the Wismec produced VF products.

Wismec makes it, Vape Forward supports it...VF has a very good customer service reputation, I know first hand...I was one of the first 200 buyers the day they released their first model, I sent them an email and within 10 minutes my phone rang, it was one of the VF partners calling to handle my issue, that never happens in Vape world that I'm aware of.

If you're interested in one of their products buy with confidence that if you have an issue they'll be there for you.

The Wismec JayBo Reuleaux RX200 showed up the other day and gotta say, its nice. It has been in the rotation for a few days and the batteries still dont need to be charged yet. The rotation does have a lot in it, with a snow wolf with a TFV4 vaped at 75 watts, an XCube with a Crown vaped at 80 watts, the Istick 100 with a Cyclone vaped at 100 watts, a Smok M80 with a subtank vaped at 27.7 watts and an Evic VT with a subtank vaped at 25 watts. The three comparable ones are the Istick 100, the Snow Wolf and the XCube II which get fresh batteries daily yet the RX200 with a TFV4 on it being vaped at 100 watts is going on day three without needing a charge or fresh batteries. Impressive in my book.
Now for the cons. It is heavy and bulky. With three 18650 batteries in it makes it heavy and could never IMHO be a vape to take with you when running around or out working. Its also shaped odd so grabbing three or four vapes with it when moving to another room doesnt work well. Yet all in all the cons are small and I like it. Would post a pic but cell phone is in the car and too cold to run out and get it. :D

A follow up on the new Istick 100, it seems with the way they have the batteries in parallel lends to longer vaping time off the batteries. Using it at 100 watts Im getting a day and a half between charges versus the Snow wolf and the XCube II not lasting a day normally. Must say, I like

I think I need to clarify my concern. It's mainly at the point in which the door is secured to the mod and not so much how it attaches when you close it. Is the door held on to the mod body with a pin, or a screw, or something else? I worried that repeated movement and or constant pressure when closed will weaken it over time.

Actually for me my RX200 fits in my shirt pocket better than my IPV4s (shorter)! Been using mine for a couple of weeks now with my Mutation MT and I'm in love!
