I am real funny about stuff like that. My pets are my kids, they are part of the family and even a silly cow can be some ones kid and part of their family. If I had a vet do me like that it would be a cold day in you know where before that vet would ever get a penny from me again.

Had a cat when I was a kid that was my buddy. He slept with me all the time and was with me always. We called him a dat the way he follwed me like a dog. He got sick and we took him to the vet. The vet said he had bad gull stones and needed his gall bladder removed. After the operation the vet called us to come pick him up and he was still sedated. We brought him home that way not knowing any better. The vet said it was ok and we believed him. My cat died that night in my arms and never came out of sedation.
I wont say what i did, even with being sure the statue of limitations is well expired but lets just say that vet had no doubt how upset I was nor will ever forget how he killed my cat.

Geez, I've never known a vet to send an animal home that wasn't at least PARTLY awake. Due to our situation (distance between us and the vet, and the driving time involved), we did bring a dog home once that was still groggy. They would rather have kept him a few more hours, but we had to take him when we did, or leave him an extra day, so they sent him home, but he was fine.

We have a problem with cutting ties with vets here. I HAVE cut ties with the closest one, because they've been utterly useless for anything "vet" related, but they're the closest one (30 miles away), so we still buy supplies from them if we need them today and can't wait for online ordering. But that's it. Then there's the one up in ND, and that vet (the small animal vet) is a whiz with dogs, and she's an absolute miracle-worker if surgery is required. I credit her with saving both Zipper's and Kiara's lives when they needed emergency (and very high risk) surgery. It was expensive both times, but they both recovered fully and are perfectly fine today. The horse vet in Sturgis is a nice guy, but doesn't know anything about cows. Fortunately, he knows I do, so USUALLY when I say I need something, he'll help me out. And also fortunately, most of the meds used on cows are also used on horses, so if I need something, it's a longer drive, but they normally have it in stock, and it's fairly reasonably priced.

It has been dispatched so I look forward to mixing some tomorrow. :thumb:

Well, the "mystery berry" is PINEAPPLE. It doesn't SMELL like pineapple to me at all, but it's totally in my face in the juice, and it's not even good pineapple, it's Flavour Art pineapple. I have a bottle of their pineapple flavoring that I can't bring myself to use because it smells strongly of pine sap, and the flavor of the Forest Fruit as far as I can tell (and remember, I only used 2%) is 100% pineapple. There's a hint of that pine sap flavor (or smell, maybe it's just the smell that gets to me) when I first started vaping it last night, but it seemed to lessen somewhat as I worked my way through the tank. By the time I got to the end of it, I was liking it, but still, it totally washed out the 10% blueberry jam that was in the juice. It's a pineapple custard now, which isn't BAD, but it doesn't taste like "berries" to me at all. So beware of that. If you like pineapple, this will be a good flavor. If you don't, well... then it's wasted. I'll use this bottle, but I'll use it as a pineapple flavor, and at no more than half a percent PER RECIPE. It would be nice if I could taste the other berries in this mix. Other people have said it's a very good berry mix, so maybe I just have a sensitive "pineapple sensor" on my tongue! LOL! I do like pineapple, but I like CAP's Golden Pineapple better than this one. This one tastes like the skin (rind, peel, whatever it's called on a pineapple) is in there along with the fruit. It's sweet, and it definitely tastes like a fresh pineapple to me, but there's that subtle piney taste/flavor that I could really do without.

Did they put the wrong juice in the wrong bottle, what has pineapple got to do with Forest fruits, I don't much care for pineapple, well that totally sucks.

That was exactly my thought: How is pineapple considered a "forest" fruit?

Well, you should at least try it, because you might taste it differently than I do, but if you don't like it, maybe Em will? I dunno. Do you have anyone you can pass flavors on to? I think I'm going to go write a review on this, and FA isn't going to like it.

I will def try it out of curiosity now, not one review mentions pineapple which I also find strange and not a single picture has a pineapple in it lol
I'll put it in some Ice cream and eat it haha

So sorry to her this! Man I would fell the same as you if that happened to one of my furry kids!! I think that the guys business would be in deep decline after I got finished with him. That is if he was able to use his hands after I hammered every finger to bits!

Ok, I want a clean fair fight, no vaping below the belt..
With the unfortunate bad feeling between these tanks of who copied who....putting that aside, this will be like any other review.

These are MY personal opinions after using both tanks.

Looks

Both are good looking in their own rights, the Aromamizer is very nice, I like the look of the knurling and the airflow ring, it's nice to have a selection of colored glass, the black finish is as tough as nails, it won't be chipping off or marking. I took a screwdriver to the bottom and there was no signs of marks. It is slightly taller than the Boreas but only by a bit. The Boreas for me looks slightly better, I love the Matt black finish and the fact there is no branding on the tank, that lazer etched Aromamizer Supreme RDTA at the top, spoils the look a little. The Boreas just looks mean !

Winner - Boreas

Washability lol

This is important to me, there is nothing worse than a tank that is hard to clean, especially when it's a RTA, the Griffins deck springs to mine here. Both, being so similar are very easy to clean, both break down into a lot of parts but there is one big difference. The stop pins that are machined onto the Boreas actually come out on the Aromamizer, they caught me off guard and came bouncing out on my desk as I scrambled to stop them falling on the floor. They are tiny, you need tweezers to put them back in, they are very very easy to lose and although you do get spares, this to me is a real pain....to an extent but I will come back to that at the end.

Winner - Boreas

Orings, threads and machining

The Orings on the Boreas in my opinion need to be thicker, this becomes apparent when you have the Aromamizer, they are top notch and seem to be positioned better too due to the design, they dont fall out when your washing the tank either. The Boreas, the bottom O ring when you screw the cap off can be on top of the bottom of the deck, the O ring to the chimney comes off when cleaning at times. A prime example, put the Aromamizer deck into the bottom cap and it is very snug, you can hold the deck and the bottom cap will stay on, try that with the Boreas and it falls straight off. The Boreas airflow/juice control O rings are another example, I don't care what others say, juice leaks into it after time but I will get back to that later as well.
Threading on the Aromamizer also takes the win, it is some of the best machining I have seen, super smooth, that's not to say the Boreas is bad, not at all but you can tell the difference.

Winner - Aromamizer

Design and Usability

This is where I fall out with the Boreas, personally having the airflow and juice flow together was a mistake and a pretty big one at that. It is the sole reason why we have to go through this crazy routine, which at first, because it's new wasn't to bad but it does start to gripe on you. The filling method of turning the tank upside down, letting the juice drain, opening the top cap slightly to burp it, shutting the juice flow off, turning it back up, unscrew the cap, fill. Not to mention the next routine after you have filled it. So many including myself have gone to bottom filling it which basically scraps the juice flow control completely, that says it all really.
The Aromamizer is a breath of fresh air, I have to say, it's the best juice control I have seen, it works like any other but this actually does shut the juice off completely, not a single drop will get through when it's closed. The juice control has a slight resistance, it's never going to move by accident. Filling is simply fantastic, shut the control off, take 4 or 5 vapes, close the airflow, unscrew the cap and fill, screw the cap back on, open the juice flow and then airflow and vape. I have not had a single gurgle, not a single drop of juice leak, there is certainly no wiping it with a paper towel like the Boreas where the juice builds up, it really does make a hell of a difference to my everyday use of them.
It doesn't stop there either because been able to control the juice flow separate meant when my Claptons were popping a little, new Clapton's an all, or too tight wicking or whatever it is, shutting the juice flow down to 4 notches from 7 (max) stopped the popping after a while as less juice was being fed to the wicks, it works really really well. You simply can't do that on the Boreas, well you can if you want to restrict your airflow.

Winner - Aromamizer

Airflow and Flavor

Both tanks are super airy wide open, now I have read many times that the Boreas airflow and overall vape is smoother, I disagree, they are both super smooth and are a joy to vape, I'd say the Boreas is a little bit more airy but it's hardly noticeable.
Another thing I keep seeing is the Boreas has more flavor, again, for me, this is not true and although they have the same design, it's the air ring that makes a very slight difference. Because the Boreas has holes, 4 of them each side when open sucking air in, the Aromamizer has two holes fully open, in fact they don't look that big and at first I thought it would have restricted airflow but it's not an issue, I can count ever single wrap on my coil through the air hole and I maybe completely wrong but I think it helps with the flavor. I have been back and forth, vaped my .... off yesterday and all this morning and it's super super close, it's so close that I kinda don't want to commit to it, call me chicken but hey....when it's that close, does it really matter.

Winner - Draw

Final thoughts

Two amazing tanks but the Aromamizer surprised me more than I thought, I already had the Boreas as the winner but it didn't quite go that way. If I had to chose then I would pick the Aromamizer Supreme and for me, it's all because of the juice control, it works way better, it is hassle free, it doesn't leak, I can shut it off and vape the access juice, pop it in my pocket without fear of it leaking, you cannot do that with the Boreas and that brings me back to those silly stop pins. Yes, they should of been machined in and if they were in the Boreas I would be going mental but it's not such a big of a deal in the Aromamizer, why ?
Because ever other day I'm stripping the Boreas down to clean the juice build up due to the juice control and the O rings, I have cleaned that tank more times than any other. With the Aromamizer, you should be able to go well, as long as you want because that problem simply doesn't exist, pop the deck out to rewick or put in a new coil and carry on vaping so having to deal with those pins wont be very often.

Two tanks at the very top of there game, both deserving but because of my OCD I find myself only using one of them now. It may not bother you but I would advise, if your in a position to do so to grab a Aromamizer and compare them yourself as my opinion is just that, one persons opinion.

Great review! I guess I'm going to have to order an Aromizer now. I totally agree with everything you said about the Boreas. The o-rings need to be tighter. I'm going to experiment with the wicking. Either adding more or using less to see if that effects the slight leaking we get when refilling it. I won't even attempt using the bigger hole deck for fear that it might leak even more since I generally vape a 50/50 blend.
Thanks again for your input! :thumb:

Your welcome, I had wrote the Supreme off even before I ordered one, took me by surprise and I've not put it down since. When all said and done, it's a Boreas with separate juice control...what I did forgot to mention is the decks juice well is slightly smaller, you don't need as much wick as the Boreas, no biggy but I should of mentioned it. The juice holes are closer together basically.
I think I have just found out why some go on about the air flow in the Supreme, the stock drip tip which I never used, I took it straight off but I have just looked at it, although it looks wide bore at the top, if you look down it, it's the same width as a Subtank tip, that to me, for a tank like this is madness. I'm glad I have my dotmod.
Hmm, Im going to try that tip !

HA, Yup, that is exactly it ! why some say the Boreas is smoother, it totally changes the vape with the stock drip tip, it's awful, now I understand why those comments were made. The stock drip tip sucks..! That's useful info, shame not many members will see it tbh....

OK this is really, really, really preliminary. I swapped out the o-ring on top of the base that the air/juice control slides over. I looked in the bag of goodies included with the Boreas and found one that is slightly thicker. Now this is just the first tank so I will need to fill this a couple of times and see if that stops the leaking. I'll get back to you guys later on after a few tank fulls to see if this corrects the problem.

More on this "forest" fruit flavor. The "pine sap" seems to have gone now. Either that or I got used to it, but I don't taste it at all now. Maybe this flavor needs to steep. It still tastes like pineapple, and it still overwhelmed the blueberry and the "custard" (cake battery) notes. So it's like a creamy pineapple flavor, and MAYBE there are other berry flavors in there, but there's pineapple in all my taste buds now, so I can't really tell.

Rixy, I think you should make a small batch and then let it sit for a while. It's possible that the other flavors will come out better with time (I'm hoping), and it might taste a lot better aged rather than fresh. If you let yours sit and rest for a while, then try it with an unprejudiced tongue, it might be more like "forest fruit," but I don't know. I might try this flavor again at a low percentage, mixed with a HIGHER than normal amount of custard or whipped cream or something of that nature. I'll use this, but for my berry cheesecake recipe, I'll stick to Harvest Berry, and for the blueberry custard, I'll stick with the Blueberry Jam flavor. :)

Vape wizard maybe the answer to this flavor but I agree, Harvest Berry is nice and so is the Blueberry Jam, have you made the one with yogurt yet, I've been vaping that for most of the day..
I'll make a small batch tomorrow and get back to you on this forest pineapple o_O

LOL! Forest Pineapple! I'll have to put that in my review, that they should change the name to that! ;)

No, I haven't done the yogurt one yet. I've been busy playing around with this Forest Pineapple juice and neglecting my other stuff, so I still don't have an empty bottle yet. I'll make a batch, though, as soon as I get a bottle to mix it in. This one needs steeping you said, so I don't want to mix a tiny 15ml bottle. If I have to wait that long, and it turns out good, I want a LOT of it. Well, anyway, more than 15ml worth. 60, maybe. :)

OK, I wrote my review. Now let's see if they post it. Hmmm... just checked, and it looks like it posted. But just in case it's only me that can see it yet, here's what I wrote (it's on BCV's site, where I ordered it from):

I got a bottle of this the other day, really looking forward to using it, but UGH! I can detect absolutely no berry flavor in here at all. It tastes like 100% pineapple to me, and not very good pineapple. It has a "pine sap" flavor/aroma to it that I smell very strongly in FA's actual pineapple flavor (which I've never used because it smells so horrible). I almost wonder if the bottle I got was mis-labeled, and it's really pineapple. It doesn't have the pine sap smell to it in the bottle, though, but it comes out in the juice as I'm vaping it.

I think the name of this flavor should be changed to Funky Forest Pineapple, although I've never heard of growing pineapples in a forest.

I'll use this flavor, because I bought it, and it's not completely horrible, but it's definitely not a mix of berry flavors. I'll use it as a pineapple flavoring and hope that the pine sap factor diminishes as it ages. It seems to be a little less today than it was yesterday, so maybe in time it will just taste like pineapple, without the pine tree sap. It might actually be good mixed with coconut and/or whipped cream, but I only used 2% and it was overwhelming, so I'd suggest .5% to 1% max.

These, of course, are only my opinions. Everyone's tastebuds are different, but use caution if you buy this flavor.

Yup, that's a lotta bottles!

My order from Wizard Labs came in all glass bottles this time (YAY!), so as I empty those, I'll save them for mixing juice in, too, but I still need to order a bunch of the 60ml dropper bottles. That's what I put most of my juice in. I have a few 30ml bottles from commercial juice that I've saved and I use those for "new" recipes sometimes, but they're all in use at the moment, too. I told Rich how funny it was to me that when I ordered the 60ml bottles I thought 20 would be enough, but now I think I should have 50 or so. And I'D FILL 'EM ALL UP, TOO!
