I drilled out the air hole in it and it works great. I think I used a 1/16 drill bit.
yeah I had one drilled out, but still not enough airflow. I have the merlin and the derringer all the way open and those are fine

The Vortice is a decent atty. The airflow is a little restricted but not bad at all.
do you know how it would compare to merlin or derringer full open?

Sorry Debs I don't have either of those to compare. It is restricted because of the inner shell that has the swirl design. Here's Todd's review of it. It is the original of course.

Debs, this is what I'm getting, but apparently with a 'redesigned' rda. Uncertain at this point what is redesigned.

I checked that already, and it's tight.

I pulled the other tank out last night just to see how the screws fit in it, and they seem to be OK. I could tighten them down and it took a little bit of turning with the screwdriver to loosen them up again. I think this one tank just has bad posts. I haven't tried different screws in it yet, but I'll do that today, JUST IN CASE, but I think unless I could replace the posts on this one, it's garbage. It's a shame, because I really made some nice coils for it. Considering how small they are, I was pretty darn proud of myself. ;)

Gosh....finally ! Not you Lannie lol, the bloomin ECF servers.. Yup, pop those coils in the other tank and give it a whirl, after the Boreas though, it might be toooooo restrictive but the flavor is there for sure.

It'll probably be OK for me. Ms. Boreas is actually still a bit airy, even set on two holes. I could take it down to one hole open and still be a comfortable draw. I'm so used to my iSub tanks, those are "perfect" for me, but it's because I'm so used to them. The Wine tanks I got are a bit restrictive, and they don't have adjustable airflow. I wonder if I could drill those holes out a bit bigger... I mean I wonder if Rich could drill them out! LOL!

Stop thinking you're going to fail! Visualize doing it perfectly. Then again. And again. Just close your eyes and play a little mind-movie of yourself sticking those on there with no fuss, no muss, and they're perfectly placed. Then go home and do it the same way. :) That's how I "trained" myself to milk my first cow. I did it all in my head first (many, many times), and then when it came time to actually DO it, it was EASY.

So, can I take the coils I made for the one Goblin mini out and put them in the other one? I've already clipped the legs off, so there's not much to work with there. And it's soooooo tiny. I'll give it a go, though. If it doesn't work, I can make more. ;)

thanks. Todd's was one of the reviews I watched. I've got a lot of allen keys, but dunno if I'd have the size that takes. Might give it a shot. It appeared they could take a decent lung hit. I'm not used to doing vertical coils, but both vids I watched seemed to prefer those.

Kewl. That'll let ya know if you like squonking. I love it!! Reos are expensive, but they'll last forever, so in that sense, far less expensive than replacing other things that break.

We gotta get ya squonkin! So easy. I need to help Ems pick out the Reo she wants, with accessories!

hope ya have a great rest of the day at work. Best of luck puttin the panels on. If you're not feeling it when you get home.......wait just a bit. practice it first getting the placement without any adhesive!

You'll need to make more I'm sure since the legs are clipped. If you managed to put those in another one, we'd probably call you the coiling queen!
