This may make you smile. In 2012 I dared to have lab tests done on SS to make sure it was ok as a vaping material. Spent a few grand of my own money, the results came back negative all was good. But people being stupid only needed doubt and I kinda killed the genny era.

The hex ohm V3 has low battery cut out and I just found it.

Kinda bummed cause I only have that set. May have to put the Cuboid down.

Well I don't know. I really don't.

But there it is.

These are rugged boxes and easily the top choice of vendors for samples. No kidding THOUSANDS of these things are in use for sampleing. Second choice being a decent RX200. No other two mods really stand out as heavily used but I prolly saw most makes in use at some point.

So I was using Hex Ohm's all day and I knew one was gonna follow me home. I was set on a V2 but the V3 has alot going for it.

I been using my Cherry Bomber alot lately and even a pure mech doesn't hit as hard. That power is just right there.

thanks. Yeah me too, but it is what it is. But it's considered an attack on a person, and really I do appreciate that they squelch that. We don't do that in the threads I hang out in, but there is plenty of it in the main forum areas that they do regulate.

I been using V2's all day and I have a V3 and I'd say they hit about the same.

I love the fire button. And I mean I'm in love with it. Far and away the best buttom I've ever used and I've had about all of them. Mass market I mean. And as of today I've used some customs.

Your seeing a sea of people and remember these are only the ones hard core enough to go to a vape convention. And Syracuse is a pretty small city, about 150K.

Now recall ALL these people were paying 10 bucks per pack up until recently. And now they aren't paying any tax at all.

jup, but if they don't manage to kill it, that part is certain to change. Might take awhile to get to the rate that cigs are taxed at, but it took cigs a long time to get to their current tax rate too

Going well. As you might have guessed I'm sciencing as I go. The Clapton was driving me mad with the ramp up and cool down times. After about three hours I just could not take any longer. Then something interesting happened.

Of course I took pictures
I started with this Clapton

Then I made this triple parallel 30g Radiator coil, same surface area as the Clapton.

At 45 it's a beast.

Cool, ramp up time is long but then it's in the Merlin with restrictive air flow, throw a Clapton in the Limitless and crank her up, much different then. I'm hoping you'll get one, even if it's just for science My Merlin has got 24g SS in now, suits it better.

It's a clever design. Very forgiving in behavior, and as close to an RDA or a squonker as you can get. I do see it going through juice way faster, though. Must suck it up like a sponge. It would be fun to try a 180W hit just to see what it's like, and now I know I should keep some tissues nearby.

Yes she does drink the juice up quick.

Reasons I was not sure??

I think the focus was to be on juice and I make my own and I'm not very experimental.

I'm old. My impression of vapers is most are middle aged and vape 30-50w box mods. But I come to the innerweb and hear either everyone vapes a Provari and a Kabuki and vape events are all kidz blowing cloudz bro.

But I figgered why not I can leave if its stupid.

So we drive to the big city and pay 8 bucks to park. So I'm alittle ...... but was expecting some indignity being in the city. Walk in the Oncenter and see some kidz blowing cloudz but they were nice. Walk in the main room and I have arrived. I was pretty amazed.

Right away I see Craving Vapers. They have the V2's and V3's ready to roll. I was pretty hard but whatever off we go.'

My wife jumps right and starts tasting juice. Soon I join and that was it, I was in the game. There really are a crap ton of great juices out there. Who knew?? Also lots of crap but taste is subjective so ok. My wife and I don't like many of the same juice. Any melon is BARF and she loves them. Juice was being sold for 10 bucks for 60ml bottles and some was 10 bucks for 120ml.

I have alot of juice. I'm talking 1000's of ml's here folks.

Everyone was great. EVERYONE!!!

Average age was prolly 30's with plenty of people my age and older. At no time was I out of place.

Most people vape mid-level box mods just like use. I did see quite afew SX Q Class modz. I am super in love with them. I seen some high end stuff todays folks. Custom box mod makers selling stuff roughly what I paid for my truck. But you wouldn't have been out of place with an iStick either.

I seen Zen from HOH. He's always struck me as kinda less then pleasant and the day was long so I didn't stay long. Hard to take a guy serious that says he's trying to help smokers quit and he only brings 1200$ mods.

I met Pip the Bunny. She is one of the nicest people I have ever met. I don't have many kind words about humans but she is pure class.

Well Flat ribbon clapton wire in the limitless is perfect, vaping heaven, ramp up time is fine, shes a chucka and I may need to lower my % in flavoring now. This has now become my main tank on a daily basis.

And for all those (most) reviewers that say you can't use a standard drip tip, toooooo many products, not enough time.. !

Other than that and this coil turning the Merlin into a juice ..... I'm enjoying this little experience. Oh yeah, I've settled on 35W. Above that I don't get much more flavor and it just gets hotter. Above 45W it sucks the wick dry in about 4 seconds. Above 55W about 2 seconds.

Interesting to note of the thousands of flavors from 100's of lines only one flavor from one line was tobacco flavored.

It was disgusting but I will say it tasted just like a cigarette. Brought me right back to my last smoke which was sometime ago.

Vaping that garbage I could see be only being one step from being a dual user at any moment.

Funny I think tobacco flavors should be banned and my government thinks everything but them should be banned.
