40w now, I love these coils, great setup, this will be my traveling setup for sure, flavor is getting better now, takes a while with these though..

Going to try the melo 3 mini with a triton Clapton coil in, I've got a feeling there will be more airflow out of those..
But you were just at 23W and breaking it in slowly. Is 40W in an hour a slow break in? Maybe I have to get tougher with my coils and stop coddling them.40w now, I love these coils, great setup, this will be my traveling setup for sure, flavor is getting better now, takes a while with these though..

I break in coils at half wattage for about ten puffs. It's really just making sure the wicking material is wet before giving it the full beans.
Given that for a factory coil I usually only go up to maybe 12W (on a 1.8 ohm coil, where else can I go) so it doesn't take forever. If I were using a subohm coil I'd probably be going up by maybe 2W every several puffs, but that's theoretical as I've never bought a subohm coil.
My own coils I figure I already dry burned the coil making it and soaked the wick to test, that after a couple of unpowered puffs to make sure juice can flow, I just use them.

I went up 1 watt every 15 pulls, put 4 tanks through it, mothered it really considering the Clapton coils, prime and straight to 30w for 5 mins then up to 40..
These cCells are no where near broken in yet, that will take a few days for the flavor to come out more but it's not dry hitting because the ramp up was done very slowly, that's the key to these..
Melo 3 with the Clapton coil has way more airflow now but I've not missed that new coil taste, something else you don't get with the cCells.
I'll never get to the beach at this rate, oh well, let Em set it all up and I'll wonder over soon lol

While doing this I've been wondering about people who vape on really high mass coils like 20ga. They must enjoy a really hot vape. The triple twisted 28ga has the same mass as a 23ga wire and it was almost too hot for me.

Vaping both the cCell coil against the Clapton with the same juice you can really tell why people say the cCells have a clean flavor, that praise as always annoyed me but it's true. It's such a chilling out vape.

Hmm so a Ccell coil is worth trying? Im pretty sure I have a couple tanks that can take cCell coils..
All my stuff is still in crates so idk what i have actually lol I do know when I can, theres some more RTAs I need to grab!
