Try a longer (and non-metallic!) drip tip. May help with that.

I don't mess about when it comes to car camping.haha, that is some awesome camping..
Yeah Em laughs at me but when your stuck abroad for a month with no where to buy vape gear, I have to make sure what I take is gonna be right. I swear, I would book a fight back if it wasn't just to pick something up, she knows I would do it.
I have ten days to sort it now![]()

I was going to suggest a squonker setup but that's not very pocket friendly.
I may have to ask Emma about wicking the Serpent mini. Mine floods if I try to use the top fill.
I'm going to be so shy when we visit, it's very easy to game about on here and when I meet your wife I'm going to be even more embarrassed. I mean no harm
Thanks, I'll give that a go.I wicked mine just shy of the bottom, just below the first groove so to speak. I don't thin the cotton out a great deal either and find your basic organic ... cotton works the best. I did get flooding using Cotton Bacon.
I will wick his tomorrow with some pics that Rixy can post. I'm going to do a 24g SS build of 10 wraps 3mm.
Out of interest, what build do you do in your Serpent please Boden ?
I also close the afc, open the top cap, fill but leave a gap, screw on the top cap, tip upside down for the final turn, flip back up, open afc and vape. Sounds worse written down than it does doing it, it only takes a minute or so.

I look forward to seeing those, I must add about the Clapton I prefer, it is a 28g/32g so the ramp up time is less and it doesn't need a lot of power so it's quite a flavorsome cool vape. Thanks, I'll give that a go.
I'm about to put a new build in mine. I'll post some pics in a bit.
I look forward to itNo need to be embarrassed Emms. It's all good!
We'll all have a good time on the water and a lot of laughs!![]()
I like that drip tip!
Would like to try a Radiator coil in my Serpent(full size). I ran SS430 around 1ohm, basic contact coil but worked well in TC.430SS 28ga parallel Radiator
(dual 2.3mm rods)

Came out to 0.5 ohms. Nice at 25W 430*F (221C)
I run this tank in TC because it's so small.
I like that drip tip!
I made it out of a Bethlehem Olive branch. (Not kidding)
I love my Serpent mini. In black too.
It does have two drawback for me. One is the small volume. Not that I vape a lot as I just tootle along (although I am now up to about 4 ml a day from 2 ml a day thank to my lower resistance builds from hanging around this thread), but the small volume and low profile can make for a hot vape. The second is that top channel post. Looks really easy, and it is with decent sized wire (certainly a Clapton). But trapping a narrow gauge wire on those screws is a trial for this newbie builder.
Glad you found the perfect tank for him.
