I know exactly what happened with the FDV 510. It needs some lock washers (2) or the face needs to be drilled and pined in place.

hey boden......would you happen to know offhand what would cause a cuboid 150w to not recognize that the battery is charged? It'll come on if you plug it in to charge, but even leaving it on the charger it shows both battery levels as dead. Batts were new sammy 30Qs and fully charged, the mod just doesn't recognize them as being charged. Or other batts either. Any idea what might cause that and if it could be fix kinda simply?

Either fix is quite easy. I'm sure you could de-solder the 510 and set some thin split ring washers on either side of the solder tab. If there isn't enough room for split rings, drilling a counter sunk hole in the top plate to pin it with a bolt is a few moments work. Proably best to let boxter do any drilling though.
I don't know how the plastic they used responds to drilling or wood screws. Could split. I'd use a tiny nut/bolt myself.

Had it a few weeks, I was meant to get the DNA 250 in the boxer, well, double 18650 so 166w or something but he didn't have the boards in time.. Ended up with the 200/133w.
My new box won't be doing that for sure and it's still in New York waiting for the massive battery to get to him...

Aww, I'm OK, I'm used to things going smooth and get frustrated (very easily) When you pay good money for stuff, you don't expect it to either, not work how it's meant to or bust after a few weeks....and then it's the whole process of getting it sorted, ain't got time for this drama..awwwwww that stinks. I totally understand. When you spend on what is supposed to be a quality made item, things like that shouldn't happen. Sorta like buying a Jaguar and expecting the electrical systems to all work. OK, bad analogy.........
