I'm in Paris with Emily and I have just seen the best example of the Asmodus Minikin 2 Kodama mod I have ever seen, it is absolutely stunning but boy is it expensive, it's at the top of their price range but wow, it's soooo nice.

I'm tempted lol

Curious, I just saw them on vapordna in the US, and it's $349. How much are they asking for it over there? Can't be much different after currency conversion so still a good chunk of change for the wood.
These have more resin in them but I talked the guy into a deal and agreed on 230 pound, which is about 300 dollars.

The detail in the resin is very nice and the wood is sort of purple, it caught my eye and that was that lol
Oh, go ahead, Rixy, you know you need it. And it's not my money!
You talked me into it

My cousin is married to a weegie, and we do have a lot of fun with him. ;) What part of Canada is the missus from?

Her folks are weegies that went out in the late 60's, she's a Toronto lass.
So, I had to look the word "weegie" up, I have to admit I find the Urban Dictionary definition somewhat humorous, I almost suspect it was written by a weegie.

"Weegie - A slighty derogatory term applied to people from Glasgow by the occupants of the other, more insignificant area's of Scotland."

Nice and a good price but I'm a sucker for hybrid ones and those aren't as nice as the one I saw today.
No idea what tank to put on it, getting a bit fed up of the kylin's condensation.

Any suggestions ?

Will it support 28 mm? The Vaporized Nomads Pangeae looks promising...

I, myself, am a fan of RDTAs... perhaps the Merlin?

No 25 is the Max, 24 preferably though...

I was looking at the Merlin RDTA, looks a pain to build on though.

Happy to help a friend in need :)

Ooh ooh... the resin based Firelukes...

Might get one to match perfectly, and if you don't like the vape, convert it into a teensy tinsy gumball machine and recoup your money lol

Maybe. Have you seen the price on teensy tinsy gumballs?! :w00t:

Posted today in my FB vape group from a local user.

At least the explosion was contained...

Hmm. I'm an ex-smoker. Did it for about 30 years. I started off vaping on those weak Chinese e-cigs about 8 years ago. They were pretty bad. It did manage to use them to put off smoking until I could get to an appropriate location. But they weren't ever going to replace cigs. Then things went South. My wife got very sick (Cancer) and my stress levels skyrocketed. I ended up going completely back to smoking after she passed away. It's pretty stupid to continue smoking after watching the love of your life die from Cancer. But I did it. What got me was the looks that my kids had on their faces when they saw me smoke. They understood my stress and never said a word about it. But they didn't have to.

About a year after my wife died my sister introduced me to a beautiful crazy lady. That's not a knock on the woman. I can only be with damaged women, women who have some scars like I do. We hit it off like fireworks but she was an ex-smoker. So I tried it again, I tried it harder. I made it work, I felt like I was alive again. I started deep down the old MTL rabbit hole. Well, long story short, that relationship ended for various reasons after a few years. I kept the vaping though and just buried myself deeper into it.

The mistake I made was going for higher and higher Wattage, thinking that I needed too. It worked for a while but I had horrible cigarette cravings. I finally realized what I was doing wrong. I converted myself back to MTL vaping to mimic cigs. I still have some mildly cloud chasing gear. I can do it for fun when I want to. MTL is my bread and butter but I'll whip out the Wattage tanks or go TC every now and then. So....

1) I MTL out of necessity.
2) I go DTL for fun.
3) I use TC for the flavor.
4) I'm old. Not death bed old but old enough that if I fall down people rush to my aid instead of laughing about it. I have a nice pipe coming in Tuesday and I am looking forward to sitting around with the thing.

So I think I'm a back porch tootle puffing modwomper.

@listopencil

I've been the same way with this higher wattage vaping but I'm loving my single coil tanks more and more these days with a little bit more of a restricted airflow, the flavor is fantastic.

Really though, it doesn't matter how you vape as long as you enjoy it and your off the smokes so congrats on that.

Pretty nice deal. I can't tell if I like the blend in buttons or would rather have a metal button with the wood design as an offset. I recall reading that the Chinese manufacturers were looking to getting into stabilized wood at a lower price point, and that does seem to now be the case. A while back I believe it was Kanger who released a DNA 75 stabilized wood for just around $100. no idea how it sold or what happened with it.

Rixy, photos of your new mod when you get home!
