Update Serpent SMM

So I decided to take out the stock coil that came with the SMM, as with all machine made coils, it's wrapped far too tight, the juice can't get in there and it pops more than it should, no spit back but it could be better.

Taking advantage of the single coil setup, I put a stapled, staggered, fused clapton in there, I would never run these coils in dual.

Came out to a respectable 0.27ohms, 70w, no dry hits, in fact, I've never had even the slightest bit of a dry vape but OMG, this thing is madness hahaha

Very smooth, it's no where near as angry as the stock coil, warm vape, tank gets warm chain vaping but that's to be expected with this monster installed. Flavor is amazing, this tank is so easy to build on and never leaks, I think I could of used less cotton, which I will next time.

Rixy, nice coil! What's the ID on that coil, 4 mm? With all that metal it looks huge. You vaped at 70W, but did you use a preheat on the Gen3? It just looks like it would take several seconds to get up to temp.

Thanks. It started back June 15. I'll start to feel better, then it will hit again. I was wheezing so much at work yesterday my coworkers were worried. I was too, if you wanna know the truth.
I'm sure it'll clear up soon. Wish I had never smoked a cigarette in my life!

I watched DLJ's review of it and the biggest change is the bottom battery door instead of the slide off sleeve. Those panels are interchangeable between carbon fiber and those wood panels. Personally, I like the Therion battery door configuration better as there are lots more backs to change the look. Maybe they'll have more panels down the road.

I don't know, considering the numerous "sticking fire button" reports on the last few Lost Vape mods, a change to the fire button design might indeed qualify as the biggest change.

Nope, no preheat, instant ramp up time and it's a 3mm ID, in fact less ramp up than the fused clapton, at 70w it's instantly angry LOL

Rocking a moon drip tip, wide open at 100w with the 3mm deck, it's OMG, the Boreas is back with a vengeance, we're talking thick TFV12 clouds. It's been sitting in a draw for 8 months and it's still better than 95% of the gear I own !

Staple fused claptons in this brings this tank alive again, it's not even warm to the touch and the flavor is awesome, why oh why did I ever stop using this tank, I'm an idiot, now I want another black one. Those coils are key to this tank for me !

My beautiful black and gold version has vanished, I have a good idea where it went though

I think 2016 was the year of the RTA's, go back and vape them, you wonder why you bother buying 2017 gear lol.... except for a few of course.
