Good to see you Rich, I'm in a neck brace lol, fell off the quad bike again.
Listen closely, my son, for it is all those wheel stand attempts (pop a wheelie) that now have your children calling you "Papa We-Lee."
I'm just glad you didn't break your fool neck ya little varmint! Now heal up quick, ya hear?

Cheers Dad, I tried to take an embankment at high speed, plus it was too steep, flipped it and rolled backwards, I landed right on the back of my neck with the weight of the bike, it could of been a lot worse, it was great fun though up until that point.
I do have Emily to look after me and credit where credits due, she's been great.

I now know that my ceiling has 3 spiders on it, there are 160 squares in the pattern and the light bulb is 60w, I literally have been flat on back in bed for over 24 hours now and not in a good way either ;)

Oh well

It's iJoy so keep any expectations low and don't even think about any type of functional TC. ;)

I also wonder what Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. would think of iJoy using their cars in ads for the Capo...

You will have to teach me.......if that's possible :/

Sorry about your neck. Did the mod survive the fall?

Notice, I said less often. That still doesn't keep me out of trouble.:D

Have been itching for a Therion 166.

The Therion is a no brainer. You'll love it. Or you can wait a little longer (no idea how much longer) for the 166/250c board to come out.

Perhaps you should investigate one of these? ;)

Yeah, I really do understand. While I was never into 3- or 4-wheelers, I used to race dirt bikes (250WR Husqvarna) in my younger years and got my share of cuts, bruises, and broken bones. At least on the 2-wheelers, when it flips over backwards from trying to climb a brick wall (or a hill known in the circuit as Big Bertha), you can jump free and it doesn't land on you.
Perhaps you should investigate one of these? ;)

Gee, David, don't give Rixy too many ideas. If he acquires one of these roll cages, then after a couple pints of Guinness ("It comes in pints?"), he will try to get into the Guinness Book of Records for the total number of rolling flips under power before it goes off the edge of the cliff into the ocean. Don't know if the Little Mermaid could save him while he is still doing rolls toward the edge of the continental shelf.

Me likey!
Me too! Been wanting to get into squonking for awhile. First cheaper regulated device that interested me. Since I don't care about tc, okay that's an ijoy. Looks like a good beginner squonk. I'll wait until someone here has it to decide.

Ok... so, the Capo Squonk... Ijoy in general... I have no real issues with their TC. Odd, huh? I suspect that companies "tune" their mods differently. I cannot use a Clapton on a Reuleaux... kicks me into wattage mode regardless of the atty. Round wire builds work fine. On the Ijoy mods, round wire builds are a bit tepid and pulsy, but claptons work fine. On the original Ijoy Limitless, though... with a 50 watt cap, IIRC, TC is certainly limited to round wire, but it's not the Iwepal chip, so...

The Funky arrived and I did not get dark panels :)

It's a solid mod. Reminds me a bit of the OG SnowWolf, but with resin in place of the glass. I have one panel with absolutely zero play, and one with about an scosh... or, half a smidge. There's no rattle anywhere. There's also no snagging of wrappers.of loose cells, so far. Perhaps that was corrected in the second batch.

The screen is a wealth of info... almost too much, but helpful, and you don't have to hunt for the info.

The menu system is simple... basic. Push and hold the up and down buttons to cycle through modes, and then push and hold the up and down to exit the menu. To change the temp,.triple click to lock, press and hold up and down, change temp, triple click to unlock. When it's locked, it's all locked. There's no way to just lock the adjustment buttons. Oh, and five click on, five click off.

It's not all wine and roses (or beer and pizza, if you're a bank security guard). It is a bit of an odd duck. In wattage, it's just as it should be. In TC it's tepid and pulsy UNTIL I put in a clapton. That's not the only oddity, though... when the batteries got low... I mean 12% and down... the board got real innacurate. Not weak... inaccurate. I started getting close to dry hits after a full day of no issues ONLY when the batteries read low. There's no way to lock the resistance, or read the resistance save removing the tank, firing the mod, and replacing the tank to get the same/new query. Speaking of resetting things... when I replaced the batteries, the mod came back on at 120 watts. I switched to TC mode, and it was set to Ni, 315C. Yeeouch!!! Check settings after swapping cells. I do not know if there's upgradeable firmware.

It is NOT a Revenant killer. The looks are, IMNSHO, better than the Drag, but the Drag is more accurate. The Revenant, though, beats both.

Questions?

Well folks, it arrived. I'll get the bad and the ugly out of the way. Take a look at my authenticity card for the bad, and if it's not too small, have a look at the glue job for the magnets (in particular the bottom one) for the ugly. The lower one in particular looks like a battery sat idle in it for a few years, leaked, and crystalized. Not good on a mostly clear panel. On both sides but especially the front, you can see a poor finish (likely from the print stage) at the 510, with an unsightly divot smack in the middle and marring the flush clean line of the Hadaly's steel base. Getting REALLY nitpicky now, the print lines on the right side (without the button) show some slight shifts in the pattern, but this really only stands out due to how flawless the rest of it came out.

Onto the good, and thankfully, it kills where it counts. The thing is light as a feather, teeny-tiny (shockingly so), has a great feeling button, a simple locking mechanism, absolutely perfect tolerances in troublesome areas like the battery connections and door panel (not too tight, not too loose, juuuuust right). It has a really rough-hewn wooden button that feels just perfect with the textured feel of the ABS plastic (though for some this may be a negative.

6oz of pure silver in this thing and the lamination job is top notch, so it should hold its shape without needing much attention for a good long time, assuming I don't hammer down the button. And yes, it hits fast and it hits... SMOOTH. I'm womping this thing, afterall. ;)

Could I be happier? Yes. This was a lot of money for very little actual material and one anticipates a higher level of scrutiny from the makers as a result. Do I regret it? Not for a second. This thing ticks off every box on my list of needs and my gripes are wholly cosmetic.

Vic's back on a mech and it feels like home.

Day two update:

Noticed a tiny gouge in the positive contact, causing a very small burr. Filed it down with the edge of a quarter. As the Keystone of the mod, this would be totally unacceptable if it was any more severe, but thankfully easily fixed. I'm not thrilled with the long term implications of this, however (microarcing possible, more difficult to remove tarnish), so I'll be looking into an easy way to polish it back down more thoroughly. The silver strip is cut raw on the edges, so care must be taken when installing, but it's not ultimately a major hassle.

It's a lot of complaints, quite frankly. Yet I'm still absolutely thrilled with it. Just hits my right buttons.
