Wife and I were talking of this last night.
My rule of thumb is I'll try and buy one authentic to reward the designer and if I get more they will be clones.
And I wouldn't mind another of these puppies.
Its made in China so they hve the plans so the clones are prolly already in the pipeline.
This kit includes a good bit of stuff so I'm interested in seeing the price. I'm guessing a 1:1 at about 75$.

But they also pulled this crap on Eightvape who had purchased $55K worth of product from 528 and then were also accused of selling clones...

Just how the world is these days.
5 years ago if a company cried the blues about China maybe I'd care but these days there are no secrets. In the vape world anyway. Outsiders are still surprised some. Witness the tears over Yeti cups. Any vaper could have seen it coming.
But they still have to cry fake tears to make appearances.
My beloved Dead Rabbit was designed by Heathen, who honestly I never really cared for. Now you can't tell me that Heathen doesn't know what time it is but when Rabbits showed up on FT he cried a river. To people in the know he looked silly but its all part of the game.
BTW I've got "legit" and FT Rabbits and they are the same.
A lot of that would all go away if they get away from the $80+ standard for a little piece of CNC machined steel with an authentic label on it. It's not like the stuff is hand machined out of a shed in Lackawanna.
The Gulf between daydreaming on the innerwebz and putting product in peoples hands will always be wide.
Its easy to say its just a 90 dolla slab of metal.
But to say I think there is a market for a 2 or 3 battery mech squonker costing under a buck and a half and finding a shop to make a high quality one and setup a website under a logo people trust enough to put credit card numbers in and put actual product in peoples hands knowing for a fact the bottom feeders are hot on your heels is a whole different ball of wax.
Until last year I had a woodworking shop. People would tell me what they wanted and I'd draw up a quote. First hint of "I can get that cheaper............." I'd say then you should go get it from there.

Mooch says they're both 25a, but 2000 mah on the lg's and 2500 mah on the vtc 5a. jup I just vape around .5 ohms with ss wire. I know the VTC 5As are highly trusted and good batts. Just liked the purple on the lgs
