Had another one of my smok M80's die on me today. Before going to sleep I put it on charge, woke up and grabbed it and it was dead. Nodda, nuthin, zip.....

Thats why I am stocking up on mods and smok products wont be one of them. When you buy something you expect it to last. This is the second M80 I had that for no reason at all decided it wasnt going to work anymore.
Yea, after I saw that a few weeks ago I decided against that one.
Once I count up all the stuff I got I'll post it. Went hog wild! lol
Howdy y'all!!!

I'll tell ya what ya missed! I finally built some coils! And it was EASY! All because of that video you made for me (sort of for me...) that I watched months ago. Yesterday I made dual coils for my Aromamizer, and they're PERFECT. :D Then I made one for that Lemo2 and six iSub RBAs. I did 'em ALL! Woohoooo! And now I have more RTAs on order, and I can make coils for THEM, too!

(Everybody else had to put up with me crowing about my coils yesterday, and now it's your turn. Sorry, everybody else. ;))
Yea, Lannie's become the pro since you've been gone.

Nope. But ALL the grass is cut. All I have to do tonight is fold laundry and fill up my tanks. I've cut down to 1/2 the WTA in preparation for the vapagheedon. (sp?)

Effin' great entrance!!! Don't lie, you've been out experimenting with alien wire instead of triple parallel 32g. Welcome back.:D
Alien wire is a PITA.

I do have a nice 30/38 Fused Clapton in my Nectar.

Oh you know... A bit of sciencing in Germany, a bit in Vancouver. Home now though.

What the heck is going on with this weather?

Did I miss anything cool?

Welcome back Boden. Hope you didnt leave a mushroom cloud over Germany. They make too good of beer for that!

Nice, what is the airflow like on the goblin v2, more than the moonshot, I'm guessing yes ? And I now understand why you have the heat sink on the bottom, it's because of the afc lever, correct ? Too many people have bullied, yes bullied me into getting the Goblin V2 as they say you can't beat that RTA for flavor so I was forced, yes forced to buy one lol.
The Moonshot has quite a bit more airflow, looks like two 1.5x15mm slots on the bottom feeding 6mm air holes on the deck. I didn't measure them though. The smaller wide bore 510 drip tip from the Stumpy fits it perfectly and you need a DT. It's a flavor beast, I have since put two fused Claptons in it and run it at 100W on the Cuboid and have had it to 150W.

The Goblin Mini V2 is no slouch either in the flavor game. It has bottom fed 1x15mm air slots as opposed to side feed on the Moonshot. I have the heat sink on the GMv2 as it can and will pour out the bottom if not wicked correctly. Much easier to clean up the heat sink than take the sleeve off a mod to clean it instead. The heat sink also raises the GMv2 up, making it easier for those of us with big fingers to close the airflow for filling.

Both have a few minor issues:
Moonshot
  • Building on that obscure deck can be a bit daunting at first, but a couple of builds later and it's all good.
  • You need to find a large bore drip tip to work with it as the top cap can get quite hot.
  • Needs to hold more juice... ;)

Goblin Mini V2
  • The chimney bottom is thin and can be hard to get off the base. The tighter you grab it the harder it is to remove. Grab it loosely and it will spin right off.
  • Orchid style base so it will either leak or dry hit until you get the wick density right. Can be a bit of trial and error and the tank has to be emptied to work on it.
  • Creates a lot of condensation, which is another good reason to use a heat sink.
I enjoy and use both RTAs daily so you cant go wrong with either one!

I get my M80 out of my vaping bag to switch the tank out to another mod this evening and the damn thing is working.... geez!
